Sickness all around, people dying on the corners of streets, holes in the homes of many, these are all topics expressed in the essay written by Gordon Parks, called “Flavio’s Home”. Parks writes about the topic of poverty and how it make him feel, as well as trying to appeal to people in developed countries and show them that they should appreciate all that they have.
