Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim/suspect, Susan Stefka, who stated she was battered by her child's father, Ronald Benson. S. Stefka provided the following information: S. Stefka stated approximately one week ago she began staying with R. Benson at his home in Roland. S. Stefka stated that on today's date at 0600 hours, she was asleep and heard R. Stefka who stated she was already backing out already when R. Benson attempted to jump in the vehicle. S. Stefka stated she immediately stopped and got out of the vehicle. Due to the conflicting statements and a complete lack of any visible injuries, no arrests were made. Both parties completed and signed a Domestic Battery Supplement (Evidence item E2). Photographs were taken to document the lack of injuries, prior to use of the digital camera, the camera was cleared of all internal and external memory devices containing pictures. Once the all of the photographs were taken, the pictures were reviewed in the camera's memory. All pictures stored in the memory were uploaded to the computer and then directly downloaded to a CD. No editing or deleting occurred during this process. Six pictures were transferred from the camera to the computer then to the CD. I reviewed the photos for accuracy. The CD was marked with the date the pictures were taken, the Report Number, and my initials. The original CD was submitted into the Property/Evidence Room as evidence
