PURPOSE AND APPLICABILITY: To define responsibilities and establish uniform processes and procedures for CL II, IIIP, IV and IX operations within the 8th Theater Sustainment Command (TSC), Support Operations (SPO), SPO Multiclass Section. This SOP applies to Soldiers, and civilians operating and managing under the Global Combat Supply Support- Army (GCSS-A) as material managers.

MISSION: Through the use of GCSS-A, perform the multiclass section provides materiel management of Class II, III (P), IV, VII and IX (time sensitive and non-time sensitive support); The Multiclass Section provides level I, II & III Materiel management to five (5) Logistics Readiness Center (LRC’s). We provide Level III Material Management to all tactical SSA’s;
