...SWOT and Strategy Evaluation Paper Synthia Schnaudigel PHL/320 December 14, 2015 Jennifer Stephens SWOT and Strategy Evaluation Paper What information I gathered, companies that offer several activities such as; gambling, pool dancing etc. are all a part of a successful gambling industry. However, this may be different types; it could be just a casino, hotels and casino resorts it is the environment to place bids which could be local and/or lottery companies. a casino is a facility which houses and accommodates certain types of gambling activities. The industry that deals in casinos is also known as the gaming industry. Casinos are commonly built near or combined with hotels, restaurants, retail shopping, cruise ships and other tourist attractions. There is debate over whether or not the social and economic consequences of casino gambling outweigh the initial revenue that may be generated. In the United States, some states that have high unemployment and budget deficits have turned to legalizing casinos, often in places that are not tourist destinations. Some casinos are also known for hosting live entertainment events, such as stand-up comedy, concerts, and sporting events. There are pros and cons to every company. The first step in doing a SWOT analysis for an online retail is indentifying certain strengths that the company has. The strengths a lot of online companies have are unrestricted services/24-7 operation, Labor and time saving, less cost/affordable. On-line shopping can be accomplished without any restrictions. Swot Analysis in Drug Store Industry

...SWOT Analysis in Drug Store Industry Treasure Womack PHL/ 320 July 13, 2015 Howard Kersey SWOT Analysis in Drug Store Industry The drugs store industry has several capabilities. Most consumers have at least the occasional need to shop at a retail drug store. The retail drug store industry consists of neighborhood pharmacies, large drug store chains and supermarkets or general retailers with drug store departments. Competition within the industry is strong as retailers adapt to changing trends in the market and seek to retain customers. Drug stores face several critical issues. Low margins on prescription drugs may push drug stores to expand front store merchandise sales where they compete with discount stores or into related businesses such as Pharmacy Benefit Management. The problem also arises in regulatory pressure to contain drug store prices. The continuing rise in prescription drugs costs has encouraged proposals to control drug prices either through legislation or the formation of large public buyer groups that can negotiate lower prices with drug suppliers. Controls in drug store prices have cut drug store margins. The increase in the number of widely used drugs moving from prescription to over-the-counter (OTC) status proved to be another problematic area for the drug store industry. In the U.S., 106 ingredients in more than 700 widely used medicines have moved from prescription to OTC in the past 30 years; this has completely changed the pharmacy role in categories...

What about the fitness center industry in the future; are there weaknesses that could ultimately cause them to fail as a whole? What about opportunities that could add to their success? Are there threats that lean on the shoulders of those managing such an industry? With all this curiosity, a SWOT analysis needed to be done. Are you curious about those results? Are you curious about the future of your gym? Industry Background The fitness center industry only came to light in the 1970s and 1980s with simple cardio (running), and aerobics. Online Gambling Swot Evaluation

...SWOT: Online Gambling Jonathan Moore PHL/320 April 6, 2015 Aileen Smith SWOT: Online Gambling Gambling has always been a form of entertainment in the United States. Visuals of gambling by means of poker have been displayed as far back as the 1800’s in the days of the “Wild West”. Statements can be heard on the playground of elementary schools by kids saying “I bet you…” Sometimes these stakes are small and sometimes they are large. The total gambling industry is a large profit maker for many people and covers many different forms of betting such as legalized casinos, state lottery drawings, and sports wagering. Unfortunately, in the United States, gambling is still frowned upon when done online. However, is online gambling a completely negative form of allowing individuals to take part in their gambling ways? SWOT Analysis [pic] The biggest strength for the push to legalize online gambling is that there is a total worldwide revenue for gambling in the amount of $400 billion. This is an amount that has the potential to grow by allowing more customers a chance to log in and entertain themselves in the privacy of their own home. Estimates show that this revenue can reach over $500 billion by only expanding throughout Asia. The U.S. gambling, or gaming, industry consists of about 500 casinos, about 450 Indian casinos and bingo halls, and lotteries in about 40 states with combined annual revenue of about $85 billion (First Research, 2015)...

...ork2012 - 2013 Catalog A Message from the President “Sullivan University is truly a unique and student success focused institution.” I have shared that statement with numerous groups and it simply summarizes my basic philosophy of what Sullivan is all about. When I say that Sullivan is “student success focused,” I feel as President that I owe a definition of this statement to all who are considering Sullivan University. First, Sullivan is unique among institutions of higher education with its innovative, career-first curriculum. You can earn a career diploma or certificate in a year or less and then accept employment while still being able to complete your associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree by attending during the day, evenings, weekends, or online. Business and industry do not expand or hire new employees only in May or June each year. Yet most institutions of higher education operate on a nine-month school year with almost everyone graduating in May. We remained focused on your success and education, and continue to offer our students the opportunity to begin classes or to graduate four times a year with our flexible, year-round full-time schedule of classes. If you really want to attend a school where your needs (your real needs) come first, consider Sullivan University. I believe we can help you exceed your expectations. Since words cannot fully describe the atmosphere at Sullivan University, please accept my personal invitation to visit and experience...
