Introduction
BA Consulting has established itself as a leader in information technology, servicing the airline and financial industry in a short period of 9 years. The growth and success in such a relatively short period can be attributed to our time tested set of best practices. BA Consulting’s achievements and cohesive functionality at each of our locations is partly due to following established protocols, routines, and guidelines. Adherence to these established protocols ensures everyone that even when we open up a new branch in a foreign country, it mirrors its sister sites across the world. In preparation for launching our new location in London, we have purchased 12 Lenova IdeaCentre A600 - 30116CU desktop computers. These computers come standard with Windows Vista. Each team will have to set up their computer and upgrade the current operating system to Windows 7 edition due to the fact that it cannot support many of our enterprise based software packages. We have purchased a license for 15 computers, with the expectation that each user will be able to carry out the operating system upgrade. Many on staff are not technically savvy, so we have put together a technical manual to ensure that the upgrade is performed correctly.

Setting up Your Computer

Step 1 – Remove five items from the box, the central processing unit (CPU), Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and External speakers
