Before you proceed, the faucet handles will need to be removed. Begin by prying off the handle inserts (plastic coverings) with a pocket knife or similar gadget. 4. Removing the inserts will reveal screws in the handles. Remove them with a screwdriver. 5. Disconnect the handles from the stems. If they are stuck together due to corrosion, try using a handle puller (a tool created for this very task). If the handle puller does not do the trick, you may need to call a plumber. 6. Once the handles are disconnected, the next step is to replace the washer. I was afraid of trying at first but then I realized it wasn’t that serious, so I calmed down and just danced. It was only me and Mississippi (a fellow classmate) and two other females that I didn’t know dancing when we started. It was supposed to be the whole class, but they didn’t want to dance because they were afraid of looking bad. I just wanted to have fun and I did because I have never done some of the things the dance instructor told use to do. We were dancing to a rappers song called “Work Hard, Play Hard” by Wiz Khalifa. It made it just a little bit easier that we danced to a song that I knew. If given the same opportunity again I would do it again. I had fun because we looked like we belonged in an Usher video or something when we got through.
