According to OECD (2005), teachers are in a strong demand to continuously improve their professional expertise, and update their knowledge according to the curricula demands, students' learning needs, and new research on teaching and learning. For that reason, professional development programs are essential in the teachers' career. Although, there is no one common definition for teachers' professional development, there are several types identified, such as in-service courses or workshops for teachers, regular scheduled collaboration among teachers and collaborative research projects, observational visits to other schools, peer observation, and participation in professional network activities (OECD, 2005, p. 127). This research aimed to respond to the following research question: "To what extent does the teachers' interaction among each other predict their degree of success in implementing the school's curriculum"? Where for the definition of teachers' interaction I selected three variables, such as: "Collaborate in planning and preparing instructional materials", "Share what I have learnt about my teaching experiences", and "Work together to try out new ideas." Due to the fact that independent variables were 4-point scale ordinal items (predictors) and the dependent variable was 5-point scale ordinal item, it was decided to run ordinal regression analysis (polytomous unversal model, or PLUM) to reveal the correlation. As Muijs (2011) elaborates, "instead of considering the probability of an individual event, this model considers the probability of that event and all events that are ordered before it", such as "probability of getting a score of 1" ("very high degree of success"), "probability of getting a score of 1 or 2" ("very high or high degree of suceess" etc.). So, it predicts the probability of each option in the single variable (pp. 166-167), and it also can demonstrate, whether the right predictors for our outcome variable were selected or not. Moreover, PLUM allows to see the relationship between each of the predictors and separately in relation to the outcome variable, which was pertinent to the research question. During the process of analysing, the PLUM model showed that there were 28,1% of cells with zero frequencies, however, it was not possible to increase the number of observed values due to the nature of the variables and its categories, although the researcher made several attempts to improve the

The 4-2-1 approach to cooperative learning (described on pages ii–iii of the Introduction to the Teacher’s Guide ) offers a structure that can help you reduce, though not necessarily eradicate, some of these problems. Described below are some strategies for facilitating group interaction. Teaching group interaction skills explicitly can help prevent problems. Begin by establishing classroom guidelines for group interactions. Rather than providing a list of behavioral expectations, solicit student input in developing a list of behaviors appropriate for group interaction. For example, students may suggest that it is important for group members to listen to each other, participate and share work equally, respect other people’s ideas and opinions, make sure that everyone in the group understands the task or the response to a question, speak clearly but not shout, praise outstanding contributions, etc. As a class, attempt to summarize the list into three to five rules that students agree are important.
