Is writing as a team more challenging or more rewarding? Writing a paper can be very hard for some people, but writing a paper as a team might prove more difficult than writing a paper as an individual. It can come to conflicts or misunderstandings within the team, and it is very different from an individual writing process and a collaborative writing process. People have to think about how to do brainstorm different in a team or as an individual, how will the individual revise and edit his work different from the team, and how can you solve problems and conflicts that may arise. When a team writes a paper together, conflicts may occur, since everybody has a different writing process. If you get to a conflict in the team during your writing process, first you think about why this conflict aroused. After looking into everything what is causing the problem, the team has to talk about the different ways to erase it. It might be that one of the team members thinks, what he or she is writing is the best. However, if a team works together, they cannot only go on the opinion of one individual. The whole team has to decide what is the best way to write this paper and how to get rid of the conflict one single person may cause. They can make a compromise on what to write and how to write it; if the individual wants his writing in the paper the team can work on the writing, get the main ideas of it and revise it so it fits for everybody. Furthermore, the team can come up with different ways to put the main idea or convince the individual that something else will be better. This helps to resolve conflicts within the team before the paper is finished. It is appropriate because it promotes teamwork and makes one individual not feel alienated. With the proofread, every individual has its own ways. Some might read it aloud, some read it quiet and some need another person to read it to them. If you work in a team, each team member can read the writing of other person and in that case, there is more than one opinion on what to change or to revise. That might be very helpful, but can also hinder the writing process with too many different opinions.
