When having to contact IT, there is a specific website or email that is used. There is also an option to access using email. The email option is easier since it does not require anyone to login. In two previous jobs, IT would be contacted by phone, and pressing options to reach the appropriate technician. Ig the incorrect option was chosen, the live technician would place the caller back into the queue in order to try again. Starting over is aggravating if there are many calls ahead in a queue. This causes a delay when completing a work day. The work day requires the use of a computer.

Regarding health care changes, I have experienced a mandatory meeting. In the meeting, everyone has been provided a packet showing all of the changes, and how the employee and employee's family would be affected. Emails would not be sufficient when employees have questions on cost, and pharmacies.

Communication from a CEO comes from an email providing notice that a meeting would occur, and then the CEO would announcement the positive or negative news. This email is forwarded to the management team, who then forward to the employees. This too will be followed up with an email stating the next steps moving forward. If there are any updates, emails will be sent unless it is an emergency situation. In the emergency situation, the mandatory meeting would take place.
When speaking to the professional association, an email to 'save the date' would be sent. For weddings, this is similar. As the month of the conference got closer, another email is sent to remind the members of the date. There would be an itinerary attached to let the members know what is scheduled. I am one who loves to have fun. With that said, I would have the first day scheduled as a meet and greet, with food, some games, with prizes, and incentives. There would be no alcoholic beverages involved since the point would be to have sharp minds attend and based on what they bring to the table in presentations, and suggestions, there would be opportunities opened for the members to move up in their respective companies. When the members are happy, they will be enthusiastic to bring something fresh and new to their companies for improvement.

...Managerial Communications according to Hynes is a strategic three layer approach to communication that managers and employees alike can use to and incorporate in order to create an efficient and effective work environment. Hynes separate’s the managerial communication process into three distinct layers in order to form a total approach to how the process should be incorporated. The first layer is based on trust and open communication. By incorporating both climate and communication in the first layer Hynes allows us to see that in order to build a positive work environment there must be trust between the employee and employer. Trust allows employees to build a stronger foundation with their employers and thus improves work performance. At the same time in order for the employee to gain trust in their manager it requires that those managers use correct communication skills to speak to their employees. Open and accessible environments lend to allow for better overall communication in the workplace. Take for example, two employees and their relationship with their manager. Employee John has a friendly relationship outside of work with his manager, he has built a foundation of trust and communication with his manager on a personal and professional level. The second employee Joe only communicates with his manager at work and has also built a professional relationship with his manager. While both employees has a foundation of trust with their manager John may feel he has a closer...
