When looking at the Work of the Cross, a Christian needs to look no further than John 3:16 (NRSV), which states, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” But this would be too simple of an answer for God’s intention for Christ on the cross and how Christ and the cross play a role in the salvation and sanctification of man. In the same breath, he would tell everyone where to get the best corned beef in Philadelphia, as well as the best marijuana. When questioned about the latter, he cited the medicinal qualities of the drug. Everyone on the team liked Marc, but it was hard to keep up with his energy level.
