Description:

The Objective of Project is to Implement Oracle Apps Projects, Finance (AP, AR, GL) , and HRMS Modules for TCS Subsidiaries to make sure that TCS can consolidate their Financial results on or before 10th of every month by enabling all the subsidiaries to use the same platform for keeping track of their Business. As a part of Project we were required to understand the Business AS-IS and TO-BE of each new subsidiary of TCS and implement Oracle Modules for them accordingly. Other activities include Post Implementation support for two quarters before handing over the support to Internal Support team and regular interaction with subsidiary Delivery and Finance user to carry out enhancements in the current system.

Responsibilities:

✓ Interacting with each subsidiaries Delivery and Finance team to gather requirements. ✓ Understanding the AS-IS and TO-BE Business Process of each subsidiary to provide them best possible solution that will suit their needs. ✓ Preparing Functional Requirement Documents, High Level design and Test Cases. ✓ Continuously interacting with client and technical team to make sure that solution is prepared as per the requirement and testing the solution functionally before handing it over to the subsidiary to use in production environment. ✓ Upgrading TCS system from Oracle 11i suite to R12 suite. Description:
The project is one of the major and high risk initiative taken by TCS to replace the stable and proven Oracle Apps ERP with TCS custom application.
The objective of the project is to replace the Oracle Apps Project costing and billing module with Bespoke application for TCS and its subsidiaries. As a part of this project we need to analyze the AS-IS processes of TCS and its subsidiaries, taking new requirements from user and provide solutions which is better and more user friendly than current system.
Other activities include post implementation support for Financial Commercial Module for all TCS subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

✓ Interacting with Finance users to gather the Business Requirements. ✓ Preparing Business Requirement Documents, Use cases, Application wireframes, Test cases, and other documents. ✓ Continuously interacting with Technical team to ensure that solution is prepared as per the Business requirement. ✓ Testing the solution functionally before handing it over users for User Acceptance Testing. ✓ Coordinating with user group for UAT sessions. ✓ Conducting user training sessions for applications developed to ensure the smooth rollout of applications.
