Thank You for Smoking (Film Review)

...Thank you for smoking „Thank You for Smoking“ is a political satire film by Jason Reitman. The film is adapted from a novel by Christopher Buckley. „Thank you For Smoking“ tells a story about Nick Naylor (Aaron Eckhart), who is a tobacco lobbyist. His job is to questioning opposing health claims and advocating personal choice and smoking. As he says in the film, he has a bachelor's degree in kicking ass and taking names. At the same time he tries to be a good father for his twelve year old son, Joey. As the tobacco sales are falling and anti-tobacco campaigns getting more influential, Naylor suggests that putting cigarettes back to movies could once again boost tobacco sales. His boss, called BR (J. K. Simmons), sends him to Los Angeles to meet the Hollywood superagent Jeff McGall. They work out a plan to put cigarettes in upcoming movies. Everything goes perfectly until Nick has an affair with ambitious journalist, Heather Holloway (Katie Holmes). Nick belives he can trust her and tells everything about his life and work. But Heather publishes an article about his life and secrets. After that, Nick gets kicked from his job. Eventually, he talks himself out of that mess and gets another job. Actors carry out their role perfectly especially Aaron Eckhart and J.K. Simmons. This film portrays perfectly the pain spots of America's society. However, in my opinion, I did not like the way how film portrays anti-tobbaco people, because they seemed to be rather ridiculous, which they...

...THANK YOU MA’M It was a rainy and overcast day. Mrs. Luella Washington was returning her home after she had bought something for cooking. Meanwhile, Roger was loitering on the same street. First, they didn’t see each other but then, Roger recognized her big figure while she continued walking unwittingly. Roger didn’t make up his mind whether to approach her sight or run away. He was in similar dilemma over staying or running away when he was in her home a month ago. They hadn’t met after he left her home and it was really unexpected for him to see her at that time. He felt nervous and he couldn’t know what to do. On the other hand he knew he had to decide more quickly because she passed near him without realizing and moved away. He hadn’t much time; she would disappear soon. So, he chose to go towards her because he didn’t show her how thankful he was. Also, he knew that she affected his life very much she deserved to know it. He began to run after her, since she heard his footsteps turned her back and saw him. They couldn’t do anything for awhile but looked each other standing frozen. They couldn’t say even a word. Roger wanted to tell a lot of things but he couldn’t build a logical sentence which expressed his feelings. Eventually he asked, ‘How are you ma’m?’ She smiled and said, ‘I’m okay son. Do you want to come to my house again? I can fix you something to eat if you’re hungry.’ ‘Of course, I want it very much.’ He responded. Thus, they commence to walk together to her...

Yes Claire. Yes, very well said, any additional information? Ok, so let’s proceed. So terms that different only in their constant coefficients are called “like terms”. Polynomials and algebraic expressions can be classified(according to the number of term) as; Monomial – having one term Binomial – having two terms Trinomials – having three termsMultinomials – having more than three terms. The degree of a polyomial is determined by the hiegst exponent of its variable. Someone give me an examples of polynomials. (called several students). Thank you for your answers. Is there any question? Oko next is adding and subtracting polynomials: Rule:Add/subtract the constant coefficients of like termsEx. Add 5x3 - 7x2 + 10x – 4 and 3x3 + 8x2 + 7x – 3Sol. 5x3 - 7x2 + 10x – 4 + 3x3 + 8x2 + 7x – 3= (5+3)x3 – (-7+8)x2 + (10+7)x +(- 4 – 3)= 8x3 + x2 + 17x – 7 Any question? rule: Subtraction of polynomial also follows the rule of addition. However, before adding, the signs of the terms of the polynomials immediately following the subtraction sign are changed.Ex. Subtract...

... I'm sure all the above would have helped you. In addition to that I wish add few more things based on my experience while working for a HR consultancy firm. Most of the time the interviewer ask this question to pick up leads about you. You can be 100% sure that whatever you said in Introduction (Abt your skills, Academics etc) will be the topic of discussion later. So you better prepare yourself for a detailed discussion on every word you say at the time of introduction. If you think you are good in a particular area (Example Network security) touch upon that area in the introduction. (While talking about your skillset). By this you are inviting the person to ask you questions in your favorite area. Instead if you give a long and whole history of life, work & skillset. You are in a position of disadvantage by opening up everything. It's a clever act. But belive me it pays off well.  BEST ANSWER: Start with the present and tell why you are well qualified for the position. Remember that the key to all successful interviewing is to match your qualifications to what the interviewer is looking for. In other words you must sell what the buyer is buying. This is the single most important strategy in job hunting.  So, before you answer this or any question it's imperative that you try to uncover your interviewer's greatest need, want, problem or goal.  To do so, make you take these two steps: 1. Do all the homework you can before the interview to uncover this person's...
