Ford’s new C-Max hybrid is trying to get the miles per gallon from 47 to 43 miles. The payments for these vehicles will go up to $550 and $325 to people that have leased them. Since then Ford sold over 32,000 hybrids sense they’ve come out. Ford tested out its Ford Fusion because it was their top seller, and when it accomplished the 47 miles per gallon Ford was able to apply that rating to the C-max hybrid. The new cars are supposedly healthier and safer for the environment, due to the smaller engine and battery. There still trying to minimize the weight of parts in the car. Ford plans on making a new car that can minimize even more fuel towards the end of the year. More competition is coming to their attention with the hybrid models, because everyone around the world believe getting a car that uses gas less and drives further is good for them and the environment.
