One of the first characteristics that makes a great president from the “great president model” is that the president usually serves more than one term. Serving more than one term, establishes that the American people trust this person to benefit America than the other candidates during the reelection. Also having more time being a president, allows the person to inaugurate new laws that can improve the life for America. A president that just serves one term is usually a one that can’t be trusted as he doesn’t win for reelection and their creative ideas that they have planned isn't what America needs or he has failed to gain success from first
