Uber, it sounds like something someone would yell if they made a mistake or spilled something. Yet Uber is not a mistake, Uber is a new way for people to get around and for other people to be their own boss. Uber is a newly developed app that connects smart phone's GPS to detect riders location and connects them with the nearest available driver. Uber has changed the way we think about grabbing a ride; incorporating the same technology we take for granted today into a brand new experience for consumers and an opportunity for those wishing to make some extra money or looking for a new career path. Uber was founded as "UberCab" by Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp in 2009 and the app was released the following June. It raised $49 million in venture funds by 2011. Beginning in 2012, Uber expanded internationally. In 2014, it experimented with carpooling features and made other updates. It continuously raised additional funding, reaching $2.8 billion in total funding by 2015. Yet for all it has accomplished there are still potential struggles, especially when entering the international market. “Uber has often been made welcome in countries, and sometimes is viewed as a positive force (in Saudi Arabia some see it as helping women, barred from driving, become more independent). The company has also shown a remarkable willingness to engage in lengthy legal and publicity battles to win over courts and the public.” (Tayore, 2014) Though prasied in some countires other contries like

Pastor

...may you never miss your future in Jesus name. However, securing a profitable future is more than positive thinking and negative rejection. Your destiny is a choice and not a chance. The task before you is ensuring that you position your ladder on the right wall and climbing the ladder to the top notwithstanding the challenges, obstacles and distractions on the way. You have only one life to live and you must not miss it. God’s plan for you and all his children is to give us a glorious future. No matter whom you are, no matter your background, no matter where you come from, God has a great plan for you. God said: “For I know the thought I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).With this, we have confident assurance that God’s thought, God’s plan for us is a great and glorious future. Every one desires a glorious and profitable future but few eventually enjoy it though it’s God plan for his children. The question then is why? Why do people miss out of God’s glorious plan in spite of their desire? You do not earn a glorious future by mere desire. It is a choice not a chance. Many never take their future with seriousness. They toy and gamble with their today and thus inevitably move progressively towards a detestable and inglorious future. A good example is the Israelites. These were God’s people with great promises. God delivered them out of...

...After reading through Genesis 1-11, it become apparent that the natural world was created by the all might God for man to enjoy, and throughout history, mankind has an inclination to stray from God’s plan to follow their own. This straying would inevitably result in man’s depravity and consequences from God himself. From the start of Genesis we see a progression of mankind’s morality drifting further and further from God. Man strays so far down the path of evil that God Himself regrets the world he created (Genesis 6:6-7). Ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s first commandment, His creation has been plunged into darkness, and the natural order of the world has been turned upside down. Jason was playing outside his house and a man was chasing another one with a gun and Jason was the victim. He was hit by the bullet and died. The first chapter of the books begins with the statement, “They kill people where they live, they shoot them for no real reason” That is what happened to Jason, he was shot for no real reason. The death of Jason drove his mother almost crazy and his father tried to force Mann to grow up too soon. He wanted him to be tough and act like a man. Maybe he wanted this because he wanted him to survive living where he lived and not be killed like his brother. Sharon Flake starts her book with the poem, “Boys Ain’t Men… Not Yet. Did Mann’s father realize that when he took him and his best friend Keelee on a camping trip. Going camping was not something that they had done before. They were used to hanging out around their house, so when they heard about camping they thought that this would be great. They did not have any idea about his father’s real plan. What does it mean to act like a man? Did he want him to know how to make the right decisions to stay safe? Did he want him to be able to take care of himself and not depend on him. Dad would always tell Mann “Men don’t …..” and Mann would tell him “I ain’t no...

Mmbc

...Overview Mountain Man Beer Company (MMBC) is experiencing the first decline in sales since its establishment in 1925. Suggestions such as remaining status quo, promoting Mountain Man Lager, and introducing a light beer, may be considered to help MMBC in its future survival. Analysis of Alternatives To analyse the potential impact of these solutions, we have used MMBC’s SWOT analysis (Appendix 1) and STP analysis (Appendix 2). Sales of premium beer have been declining by 4% each year since 2000.With increase in excise tax and competition from other companies, lager beer consumption is expected to decrease over the next few years. By remaining status quo, it is foreseeable that MMBC will continue to lose sales in their one and only product, Lager, due to the decrease in demand. Thus, there is a need for them to take action. Greater marketing efforts may be injected to boost the sales of Lager. However, as the beer market is diminishing, it is likely that this will prove futile. Furthermore, MMBC has limited financial resources to fight for higher market share from the current major producers such as Anheuser Busch and Miller Brewing Company. Despite his father’s opposition, Chris should still go into light beer, as it is hard to ignore the fact that it is a growing market, while premium beer is a declining market. The company’s ultimate aim is survival and profit maximisation, and stubbornly refusing to adapt to market trends may compromise that aim. Profitability...

...6 REASONS WHY EVERY MAN HAS GOT TO FIND THE RIGHT WOMAN. I suggest then, that the Woman that a Man picks as a mate will either CATAPULT him into his DESTINY or DRUG him into MEDIOCRITY! In fact, any man who does not have a “Woman” PUSHING him to the TOP, usually has a “Chic” DRUGGING him to the bottom. Here are 6 reasons why every man has to do whatever it takes to find the RIGHT woman: 1. Any woman can keep a man SEXUALLY satisfied, but only the RIGHT woman can, keep you the man INTELLECTUALLY inspired. 2. Any woman can arouse a man EMOTIONALLY, but only the RIGHT woman can, in the words of Beyonce “upgrade” a man SPIRITUALLY! 3.
