The greatest factor that resulted to the success of Max was his believe in people and diversity. According to Max understanding the diversity of peoples gift, talents, skills and ability will greatly impact the success of a business. In his shop he employed so many people but did realizes some of his employees had some other gift that were not being recognized. This was until when Millwright his lead engineer died that he realized Millwright was not only an engineer but a poet, for he had written so many amazing and beautiful poetry. This aspect of diversity made him believe that each and every one in a community or a workplace needs each other because people poses different gift which all work together for a common good. Furthermore, another impact on Maxes success was his passion for his work. Max did not entirely work for money. He worked because he loved doing what he did. As an old shop with obsolete working equipment, Max was able to meet consumers demand and still survive in the market. Given the fact that technology had evolved, it did not have an adverse effect n Max and his company since he believed he old equipment still did the desired job. In addition, Max had a good work ethic that was very instrumental to his success. When Millwright died, Max visited the deceased family. This gestured shows that he had concern and valued all his employees. This act of love and compassion towards the dead and their family was a tool to show how important people are and how much they can be worth to a community or workplace. Success also come with good leadership abilities. Leadership is not all about giving command to people, but creating and inspiring a vision. Maxes leadership style of delegating authority to various individuals encouraged specialization which greatly impacted on the success of the business. When authority is delegated and people get to

As hermeneutics provides a systematic method of interpreting text from multiple information sources, thus, Information Systems being prima facie defined and documented as text documents, are eminently suited for this mode of investigation. In this paper, we illustrate hermeneutics by analysing a sample case study document describing the well-known Denver International Airport (DIA) Automated Baggage Handling System project, which was extensively reported in the IS and management press and studied by Montealegre and his colleagues. As a result of the hermeneutic approach to the analysis of this document, a new ‘flexibility’ factor has been discovered to play an important, yet unreported, role in the DIA system demise. In the DIA case, the observed flexibility factor influenced the quality of the interaction between the actors, the prevailing environment and the information systems. By the end of the nineteenth century, labor unions and labor-oriented political parties had become major forces influencing wages and working conditions. This article explores the nature and development of labor unions in the United States. It reviews the growth and recent decline of the American labor movement and makes comparisons with the experience of foreign labor unions to clarify particular aspects of the history of labor unions in the United States. Abstract We examine how susceptible jobs are to computerisation. To assess this, we begin by implementing a novel methodology to estimate the probability of computerisation for 702 detailed occupations, using a Gaussian process classifier. Based on these estimates, we examine expected impacts of future computerisation on US labour market outcomes, with the primary objective of analysing the number of jobs at risk and the relationship between an occupation’s probability of computerisation, wages and educational attainment. According to our estimates, about 47 percent of total US employment is at risk. We further provide evidence that wages and educational attainment exhibit a strong negative relationship with an occupation’s probability of computerisation.
