The Muder Trial of Amanda Knox On November 1st 2007, in Perugia Italy, Meredith Kercher was murdered in her apartment. The nex day her roommate, Amanda Knox came home to find the door open and blood on the floor. She saw that Meredith’s door was locked, so she thought that Meredith was just sleeping. After Amanda finished with her shower she saw that one of the windows in her apartment were broken so she got worried. She unsuccessfully tried to break down the door, then called her friend, who then told her to call the police. Once they broke the door down, they discovered merediths body.
