The One Who Need Money
One day on the 18th of September 2023, I was kicked out of my family’s house because I had a fight with my parents they said that I was being very rude to them and I was lazy and didn’t help out for much things they decided to kick me out and I could not return until I learned how the real world works and how hard it is. Now I have nowhere to live except the streets and no shelter, food and no one to help me get through this rough patch I then went to sleep. The next day I couldn’t stand this much more so I decided to get changed into a black mask and a jacket I brought a gun and a bag and then go to the bank to withdraw my money when I went inside there was only old woman’s and some rich people with products that costed a fortune which could help me get back on my feet. When I got close to the workers near the vault I then pulled out my gun and said everyone get down all the people went down I then violently said to the worker “give me the money or you’ll get it” they then opened the safe and gave me the $50 000 dollars in my black bag that I brought. As soon as I was going to leave the bank a person with black hair and a gold necklace was calling the police I then shot him and everyone screamed I then walked out of the bank with his gold necklace and the $50 000 cash in my bag the police were already surrounding the place so I ran back into the bank and smashed through a window which lead to a alley way and a car park I then broke a window of a black BMW car and hotwired the car, then I started speeding off the police followed me in a hot pursuit I couldn’t out run them they were too fast when the lights turned red I speeded off and the police managed to hit traffic which was great I then drove into a street and dumped the car with no DNA traces of me I then ran as fast as I could to the big local children’s park to hide in the toilets. Critical Reasoning

...1.0 TOPIC 2 Critically assess the claim that it is better to enjoy your money when you earn it than saving your money for sometime in the future. It is all about the money. That is what everyone talks about these days to the extent of even having a television network like Bloomberg dedicated to it. Originally, money was created as an instrument of commerce and was universally used to the measure of value (Smith, 1937). Undeniably, money has taken a dominant place to gain access to being our basic necessity to provide a quality and way of life. It plays a special role in both our personal and social lives, exerting more power over human lives than any other single commodity (Furnham, 1998). So, it is not unusual for one to have a wrestle with the decision of whether to enjoy one’s money when one earns it or to save one’s money for sometime in the future. The statement ‘enjoy your money when you earn’ is an opinion of spending today, whereas the statement, ‘saving your money for sometime in the future’ is an opinion of saving for tomorrow. The overall statement only shows two possibilities of managing money, when in reality, there are other outcomes which include ones that lie somewhere between these two extremities. Therefore, the false dichotomy fallacy occurs. Money attitudes differ from one generation to another. For instance, our parents (generation X) were cautious and conservative in both spending and saving for future use and they influenced us to be the...

Homelessness and Poverty in the Midwest

...Social Problem Paper Homelessness and Poverty in the Midwest Sarah Rose Conklin Social Problems Spring Semester, 2010 Defiance College Submitted to: Alesia Yakos-Brown Date of submission: 4/27/10 Mahatma Ghandi once stated “Poverty is the worst form of violence”, this was true when Ghandi first stated this and it is still true in society today. Worldwide there is estimated to be at least 3.5 billion people who are living in poverty daily (Mooney, Knox, & Schacht,2009, pp. 212). That is around 1/5 of the world’s population (Sachs, 2005, pp. 289) It is estimated that 2.5 billion of these people are living on less than two dollars a day and the other one billion are living on less than one dollar a day (Mooney,Knox, & Schacht,2009, pp. 212). It isn’t fair for any person or family to live on such a small amount of money; and because of the high poverty level at least 18% of the world’s population goes hungry daily, that is every one in five people who go hungry (Mooney,Knox, & Schacht,2009, pp. 212). In 2008 it was reported that there were 1.5 million Ohioans’[people from Ohio] living below the national poverty level (Toledo Blade, 2010). In 2009 the U.S. census bureau reported that the population of Ohio is at 11,542,645 people (U.S. Census Bureau, Population Division , 2010), therefore it would put the number of people living below the poverty threshold at about 8% of Ohio’s population. When looking a social problem it may be beneficial to look at the...

Why People Should Not Paying College Loans

...back, problems arise for many people. People who do not pay back their college loans in a timely fashion usually end up being lazy and irresponsible. These people also have bad credit scores and leave future college students unable to get as many college loans. All college loans should be paid back at least partially within 5 years after receiving a degree or wages would be garnished so money is available for other people to get college loans. Child Welfare Regulations

...PART 1: A PROBLEM EXIST 2 Child welfare regulations need some improvements done. Child welfare has become a major topic with everybody. Child welfare will help families who is in poverty, families who are unemployed. When it comes down to a family who has a family member who is sick and the other one has to work they will not help them all that much. The other problem with child welfare is that when both parents have to work there is no extra help to cover the cost of daycare or another person to babysit for the child. Many states will not give out extra money for care of the child when both parents have to work. It is hard to raise a family on medium wage. That is why the government needs to regulate the laws on child welfare. A family who gets minimum wage pay they don’t have enough money to feed their children. That is why the regulation needs to be changed to help out the families who need food, medical treatment and other ways to meet their needs. When it comes down for a family to apply for help they get denied because the agent tells them that they are able to work and nothing is wrong with them. Which I think is wrong. Social Security as used with reference to the Social Security Act in the United States also encompasses some of what we call “welfare” or “needs” or “assistance” programs (Altmeyer, Arthur). When a family goes to get Social Security for their family because they need help they don’t get it because they are not disabled. So how...

Credit Card vs Cash

...and Cash There is very importance of money in our life. “When you have money in hand, only you forget who you are. But when you do not have any money in your hand, the whole world forget who you are”. This is the saying of a famous US Microsoft founder “Bill Gates”, from which one can easily understand the need of money in life for living and simplification. Among the different forms of money for financial transactions, Credit cards and Cash are the two major types. In spite of being both money, they have differences too. The differences between these two can be related as the advantage of one and disadvantage of others. Using of credit cards offers credit rewards like certain percentage of cash back which is not possible through the use of cash for transactions. Credit cards are more convenient than cash, as one can do online shopping using it while cash has disadvantage over it. Credit cards provides more security than cash. Use of credit card might require a signature and a PIN while for the use of cash nothing special is needed so if stolen cash draws more disadvantages over security. The loss of credit cards does not affect much as we can easily stop the use of that card and apply for the next card just by informing the bank. But if cash is stolen then one needs to rush to police station and needs to write a report of theft. Carrying a credit card, no one will know the amount of money you are carrying so even less chances of steal. Using...

...Customers – customers are the people who buy products/services from a business. Customers are interested in the business because they are the ones who use the products/service which it provides. I think the customers are the most important stakeholders for costa as without the customers they would make no money and the business would shut down. Therefore costa has to keep regular customers happy at all times so they return and also try to bring in new customers or there is no point in the business existing. | Customers – customers are the people who buy products/services from a business. customers are affected by the business as they are the ones who are helped by the charity, and the reason the charity started up. How to Raise Money Essay

...How to Raise Money Want to start a startup? Get funded by Y Combinator. September 2013 Most startups that raise money do it more than once. A typical trajectory might be (1) to get started with a few tens of thousands from something like Y Combinator or individual angels, then (2) raise a few hundred thousand to a few million to build the company, and then (3) once the company is clearly succeeding, raise one or more later rounds to accelerate growth. Reality can be messier. Some companies raise money twice in phase 2. Others skip phase 1 and go straight to phase 2. And at Y Combinator we get an increasing number of companies that have already raised amounts in the hundreds of thousands. But the three phase path is at least the one about which individual startups' paths oscillate. This essay focuses on phase 2 fundraising. That's the type the startups we fund are doing on Demo Day, and this essay is the advice we give them. Forces Fundraising is hard in both senses: hard like lifting a heavy weight, and hard like solving a puzzle. It's hard like lifting a weight because it's intrinsically hard to convince people to part with large sums of money. That problem is irreducible; it should be hard. But much of the other kind of difficulty can be eliminated. Fundraising only seems a puzzle because it's an alien world to most founders, and I hope to fix that by supplying a map through it. To founders, the behavior of investors is often opaque—partly because...

Welfare Reform

...WELFARE REFORM: The Welfare Reform is one of the most important issues in America today that often gets pushed to the side. I picked this topic because I believe it is something that eventually involves everyone. It is also something, in which seems that the government can not decide on one plan for. It’s always changing. It almost seems as though every president has a new plan for the Welfare program. While growing up in a poor neighborhood and having been raised by a single parent on welfare, many of these issues are important for me to understand and learn about them. It is a better way to understand and come up with ideas to help it. In 1996 congress passed and the president signed the “Personal Responsibility and work opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996” which drastically changed the welfare system. This welfare reform helped to move 4.7 million people who were government funding dependents to self sufficient in just three years. Since 1996 welfare cases have declined by 54%. The reform then expired and current president, President Bush, was trying to continue the success of this welfare reform. President Bush’s proposal was to make welfare more focused on the well being of children and families. He was trying to make it so that families that receive welfare could eventually be self sufficient. The president’s plan also plans to increase work resources for families. The reform also helps pay for childcare, that is funded with the “Childcare Development Fund”. It...

Being broke is usually a common sight in today’s world where everybody needs to have the newest and most expensive item on the market. They go ahead and purchase it while they’re still in “impulse shopping” mode and when it wears off they wonder where all their money went. People in today’s society judge others based on appearances while walking past each other on the street and the thing the brain judges most is if you have the newest fashion apparel. Or if you have the same old hand-me-downs your brother gave you when you were fourteen. You can become broke...

Pay for Play

...place that is fair across the board to all students, all sports and all schools that participate in college athletics. At this point, the debate over whether college athletes should be paid really doesn't change anything. It's not about finding the right answer because there is no right answer. Seemingly everyone, regardless of the stance they take, makes valid points. Yes, for the most part, colleges and universities are making money off of the backs, performances and success of major football and men's basketball programs and the scholarship athletes who play them. But ask yourself: Isn't that what most businesses do? Yes, business. Not college athletics. Business, man. The problem seems to be that we don't look at college athletics as a business. Instead, we subconsciously and constantly (and emotionally) look at college sports as something different. We allow the "school" part to blind us into thinking that the educational piece changes the dynamics of what is really going on and exempts athletics from being about something other than money. It's not. But that's our fault, not the NCAA's. Take away the university/college "label" associated with college football and what do we have? The NFL. Do the same for all of the other college sports, and the professional equivalent to that sport comes up as the answer. This is where we are. This has been our reality for decades. Yet, we...
