On behalf of The Whole Person, I am writing you today to share our concerns regarding the Senate’s discussion draft for the Affordable Healthcare Act Repeal. We are concerned this draft will lead to legislation that will create a disability tax due to higher insurance premiums. We are also concerned with the cuts to Medicare. Analyze the Process of Team Writing

...Writing a paper either individually or in a group, there are many things to consider other than just the writing itself. Selecting a topic to write about is different by yourself as opposed to a group. When writing alone, you don't have anyone else to contend with, so the choices are easier to make. However, you may not have as many options as you would working in a group, many people working together will come up with a much larger range of topics. Either way has its benefits as well as its problems. Having more topics to pick from will give any paper a much richer material base to pool from, but at the same time having to deal with many people means that things may not always go smoothly, as some members of the group may not see eye to eye on every topic. On the other side of that, one person writing a paper will have fewer problems picking a topic, but at the same time will not have as many to choose from as someone working in a group. One thing both ways of writing a paper have in common is that you still have to pick one subject to work with, regardless of how many people are working on the paper. And depending on the subject that you have to work with, a group or individual may come to the same conclusion in a short amount of time. When writing in a group, it can be more difficult to edit work as more than one person is writing it. When you write by yourself, the revisions can be a bit easier as you can have a better vision of the finished product as well as the fact that...

There are many ingredients in puppy chow that cause it to be sought after by many. It could be the chocolate, the peanut butter, the cereal, or the powdered sugar. Or any combination of those. For whatever reason it may be, puppy chow continues to be a big favorite among all. Ok many recipes that I have found call for exact measurement of everything even the cereal. I am a person of simplicity and convenience. So I tweaked my recipe a little bit. I use one whole large size box of corn chex cereal. I feel the corn cereal is better than the rice for puppy chow because it doesn’t break and crumble as easily. After pouring the whole box of cereal into double bagged plastic sacks I then start the melting process. The melting process is when I combine a whole bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips with peanut butter and butter. For measuring the peanut butter and butter I just use a regular cooking spoon. You need two spoonfuls of both in a stovetop pan or microwavable bowl. See I said easy. Now either way you melt the delectable mixture it only takes a few minute because you don’t...

Evaulating Bias in Research

...The first step in a student's guide to research is to understand the concept that needs to be analyzed. This enables the learner to study widely and efficiently. The process allows the researcher to determine the sources to utilize throughout the research process. As a result, one reduces the time used in writing a research paper. The failure to apply compelling sources is likely to yield a less appealing paper. Basically the first step of the research is to identify where to start in writing the paper. You can read the general information related to the topic. The sources can be established from books, online sources, and even the encyclopedias. An individual can start analyzing the general materials and narrow down to specific details by listing the keywords required in the topic. When the writer gains an understanding of what he or she is working on, writing the research paper becomes less complicated. Thus, the writer should select a topic carefully to limit the time taken to write the research paper. There are many assumptions and biases in the drug industry that can hinder accurate research results. One major hypothesis is relying on the generalized information to analyze a concept. When the study is based on a generalized idea, the accuracy of the research is undermined. An example of a widespread notion is assuming that certain effects must occur to every person who is exposed to a certain drug. The other common bias is assuming that drugs’ effects vary with...

Text The text in question is a 17-minute speech written and delivered by Dr. King. The basic medium of the text was an oral speech that was broadcast by both loudspeakers at the event and over radio and television. Dr. King drew on years of training as a minister and public speaker to deliver the speech. He also drew on his extensive education and the tumultuous history of racial prejudices and civil rights in the US. Audiences at the time either heard his speech in person or over radio or television broadcasts. A person's family has a huge impact on an individual's life. Children that experience family problems such as their parents getting divorced are more likely to commit suicide. Children that get abused or neglected are also a lot more likely to take their own life. Most children that are put into these situations feel that they have no where to go for help. Most try to communicate their feelings to others but they don't get the necessary help needed. These children probably feel very confused and very alone at such a young age that they resort to suicide. Carol Watkins a M.D. states that "Social isolation" is a major factor for suicide (2).
