...European Theatre of World War II. The Soviet offensive central had two objectives. Stalin did not believe the Western Allies would hand over territory occupied by them in the post-war Soviet. But the overriding objective was to capture Berlin. Another consideration was that Berlin itself held useful post-war strategic assets, including Adolf Hitler and the German atomic bomb program. On 20 March, General Gotthard Heinrici was appointed Commander-in-Chief of Army Group Vistula. He immediately started to lay defensive plans. Heinrici arranged to fortify the Seelow Heights which overlooked the Oder River. German engineers turned the Oder's flood plain, already into a swamp by releasing the water from a reservoir upstream. The engineers built three belts of defensive emplacements reaching back towards the outskirts of Berlin. These lines consisted of anti-tank ditches, anti-tank gun emplacements, and an extensive network of trenches and bunkers. After a long resistance, East Prussia finally fell to the Red Army. This freed up Marshal Rokossovsky's 2nd Belorussian Front to move west to the east bank of the Oder river. Marshal Georgy Zhukov concentrated his 1st Belorussian Front, which had been deployed along the Oder river from Frankfurt in the south to the Baltic, into an area in front of the Seelow Heights. In addition to being used for sexual intercourse and the pathway for semen, the penis is also where urine is passed through. The scrotum is a pouch located below the base of the penis, with two compartments. The compartments of the scrotum hold the testes. Each testicle is held in place by a spermatic cord. The spermatic cord is a structure that contains the vas deferens, blood vessels and nerves, and the cremaster muscle. This muscle controls the movement of testicle within the scrotum when there is a change in temperature and sexual stimulation (Rathus & Fichner-Rathus, 2011). The testes are responsible for the production of mature germ cells and the secretion of sex hormones. The epididymis is a tube that stores sperm and lies against the back wall of each testicle. All of them give reasons to persuade their readers as much as they could. When I went over some of the articles that talk about 2012, I asked, won’t those articles confuse people? Therefore, I have chosen two articles to see their effect over the readers. The first one is by Dr. Dr. Morrison David who is NAI senior scientist who answers a lot of questions that has been asked to NASA about 2012. The second one is by Dr. Archana who talks about different kinds of reasons why the world will end in 2012. Dr. Archana and Dr. Morrison have different opinions about 2012. There always had to be Five Acts and the play was also told in French Rhyme, that’s why some of the English translations seems like it doesn’t rhyme. It has three unities, time (24 hours only), place (same place), and action (only one plot). I will go in to greater detail on how each play does keeps to these requirements. “Poetic Justice” the evil guy gets what he deserves, and the forbearances of mixing comedy and tragedy, are major contraption on these neoclassical requirements. The plays have to feel real in neoclassical plays. Phaedra and Tartuffe both have perfect examples that show off how these plays are neoclassical. Each play must have 5 acts, that all must be done in one scene. In Tartuffe it was all done in Orgon house. In Phaedra it was done all in the royal palace at Trezene. Everything must be take place in a 24 hour span, it started when Orgon was talking about marrying his daughter to Tartuffe, then he gets arrested the following day by the king. In Phaedra it all starts when Hippolytus is talking about leaving in order to search for his father and then ending when everyone is pretty much dead and when Theseus pardons Aricia and adopts her as a his daughter. Although they are not completely peaceful, these movements have a cause and people did not use violence to solve the problem. But how are we supposed to deal with psychopaths randomly killing innocent people? In order to protect peace and order, authorized people (i.e. military, policemen) should use reasonable violence to protect those who are vulnerable. Violence and Nonviolence are indeed ways to solve conflicts within the society. In an article by Max Fisher (2013), he stated that political scientist Erica Chenoweth showed that nonviolent revolutions have been more successful than violent once because violence caused by the participants will only make the government use violence to fight back, and it will also discourage participants to join because of the danger of being harmed in the crossfire. The story “The Very Old Man with Enormous Wings” by Gabriel García Márquez showed how the crowd already resorted to violence to make the Old Man respond to them; but even so, the Old Man remained nonviolent throughout the story.
