Informal Outline: Personal responsibility can mean many different things to people. When I think of personal responsibility the first thing that comes to mind is my job. I am the plant manager of J.P. Specialties we make contamination barriers for concrete applications. I am responsible for everything that goes in or out of the factory. That is complete in every way with no errors and that it is up to the standard I want associated with both mine and the companies name. I have to be responsible for my actions to be successful in life as well as college. With the skills and determination I have acquired while I was in the military I strongly feel there isn’t any task I can’t handle or complete. I want to be successful, more than anything to show my son with a little hard work and determination anything is possible even at thirty one. The owner of my company approached me the other day with a concerned look on his face he asked why I was going to go back to school? Why now? Are you not happy with where you are now? The answer I gave him probably wasn’t how he thought I would answer. I told him that after all the considering and debating while making my decisions to make this step was not why? But why not? I have been successful in business why wouldn’t I take those same principles that have made me successful and put them to make me successful in my personal education. What’s the worst thing that could happen? I could get better I like the sound of that. That should be one of the most satisfying things I could take from this. I plan on taking every assignment given as a new challenge with open arms and completing each on no matter how hard. This is my as you know first assignment I have received in my college experience and shockingly I have had a hard time at starting and completing this task. I have sat in front of my computer taking web classes all week on writing. It is now Thursday and I am completing this assignment with a little concentrating, determination and responsibility for the things that I want I will complete my bachelors in business management.
