1. While Creamy Creations is earning a profit, and appears to be on track to continue to building on that profit, there are some concerns and reasons to why they should not be optimistic, the main reason being the complete change in Creamy Creations’ culture. Bob Peterson created Creamy Creations and owned it for two years before selling it, in the time Peterson had given his business a very community friendly culture. Creamy Creations was home to a loyal base of clientele who came for their custom ice cream treats, when Burger Barn took over, they only appeared to look at the efficiency basis of Creamy Creations’ operations. One “creamy creator” would assemble a customer’s order, it was stated that some of their customers had favorite creators and would wait for them to be available, it appeared that customers did not seem to mind the wait because of the customized ice cream they’d receive in the end. With Burger Barn coming in and changing it to more of an assembly line system, you take the personal touch the customers enjoyed away. Some potential pitfalls lie within the change of operations, by dividing the topping station in to two means that they will need to hire more staff as well as have more staff on hand daily, this could prove to be costly if profits do not rise. Another pitfall is due to turnaround, this quick turnaround that Creamy Creations is experiencing means more money must be spent recruiting and training new employee’s, this turnaround can also take a hit on the moral of the employees that remain within the company. 2.

The linkage between the quality definition, the management strategy and the project is a strong point. Although quality strategy is clearly identifed, it is not well argued using the literature. Arguments do not draw from repected quality writers and issues are not based on documented problems. To make your plan stand up to criticism and to justify resources needed for implementation, your ideas need to be backed up. One of the best ways to do this is by using the literature show why procurement is important; show why document control is important - there is lots of good literature on this. Good ideas are not enough - you need to back them up. Dispite the weakness in rationale, I felt the report was of an excellent standard. The effort put into the quality definitiion really paid off. Well done. Submitted 1 day late. I've deducted 2 marks for being late. In a project situation missing a deadline without notice can be catastrophic - especially when you are tendering. Make sure you hit your deadlines! /40 Comment 1 Good summary. Dont forget to include your recommendations. Define your...

Do Laptops Help Improve a Students Learning in Their Education?

...about how there’s technology that would be useful to a student during school. Who wouldn’t love to have Wikipedia and a spell checker handy at all times? During my high school career, I would always get in trouble for using my phone as a source to look up a word definition on an app. I would hate it very much, only because I would only be looking for knowledge and wasn’t that what school was about? Looking for knowledge and learning ways to use that knowledge. Anyways, I graduated high school and fortunately I was able to go to college. Many questions came to mind about how college was going to be. Would it be better than high school, or would it be just as bad? Coming into college I discovered something totally opposite from my prediction about it. It was probably one of the happiest days of my life coming into college and realizing that technology could be used in classes! I have been doing research for the past 2-3 weeks to figure out if laptops help improve students learning in their educational career in order to find a partially accurate answer. However, problems with this are that teachers say that students tend to go on laptops and forget about class. This is sometimes true but David Silvernail, in his book T.H.E Journal, Volume 35, Issue 7 says that “more than 80 percent of teachers say the laptops have made them better able to diversify and individualize their curriculum and instruction, and an equal percentage report that the laptops have helped them explore topics...
