Some important past research was conducted by other people, like tissenba (a YouTube channel). Tissenba did the experiment that we are about to test, but used too many variables. Tissenba also showed us he only tested the experiment once, in one weather condition, so he didn’t control the variables of the experiment.
Also, mwvsciencefair.wikispaces.com gave us important research for our experiment. This website showed us about problems with the experiment, how to design the experiment; analyze data of the experiment, and pictures of the experiment.

Shooting is when a soccer player kicks a soccer ball at the net to try to score a goal. Most shooters try to aim for corners to have a better chance of receiving a goal. Also, shooters like to shoot in the box, around the penalty area.
Shooters normally like to shoot from a 30 degree angle to a 160 degree angle. Also, shooters like to be at an easy angle (such as the angles listed above) to have a better chance of receiving a goal. There are many interesting facts about soccer. Soccer is one of the most favorite; most played, and most watched sports around the world. Professional soccer teams represent their originated country to compete in one of the most watched sporting events every four years known as the World Cup. Geometry is related to soccer because the better angle you have the more likely you will receive a goal. Density is the relative of heaviness an object can have measured in units of mass per units of volume. Density relates to soccer because the heavier the ball the harder you have to kick and the less distance it goes. The lighter the ball, the less force you have to apply. Velocity is the speed of an object in a direction. When you shoot a ball it has velocity because it is traveling at a certain speed towards an opponent’s net. Speed is the rate that someone or something can move. Speed relates to soccer because the more quickly you can move the easier you can beat a defender, and the better shot you can make on your opponent’s goal. Force is drive or push into a specific position using physical strength or against resistance. Force is related to soccer because the more force you put on the ball the harder the shot, and the less reaction time the goalkeeper has, which usually results in a goal. Friction is when there’s a resistance between a surface and an object when moving over one another. Friction relates to soccer because the more friction between the surface and the ball the slower it goes. An angle is a space (usually measured in degrees) between two lines or surfaces or close to a point here they
