Analyzing it from the attribution theory, when it comes to perception of the action, where the behavior is observed, the case got the attention of the media because Amy was famous for her parents’ children’s book series named Amazing Amy. Nick’s media appearances got the public misinterpreting his socially awkward, wary demeanor.
