Training is a process that contain the possession of knowledge of the employees. Training and development is different, depending on the organization. Most organization think that when ever an employee has poor performance training is the answer to the solution. Training and development is effective when human resources helps the employees to accomplish the organization goals. In order for an organization to stay successful the organization has to make sure employees has the skills now and in the future. All employees want to be valuable and remain competitive in an organization because their are some demand for employees in the workforce. This can only be done through employee training and development. Employees have a chance to confer with others as well as employer has a good opportunity to select the most suitable person for their organization. “Employees will always want to develop career-enhancing skills, which will always lead to employee motivation. There is no doubt that a well trained and developed staff will be a valuable asset to the company and thereby increasing the chances of his efficiency in discharging his or her duties” (Human Resources Management, 2008). Depending on the level of success thery are trying to attain, the level of education has to be just as important. However, education and training is very important for a successful future. Training and education show that you have the drive and commitment to learn. To apply education and training to achieve the goals pertaining to the tasks at hand. Training and education is vital in healthcare. Many patient when ill are scared and our roles as a healthcare professionals is their to help ease that burden. Also help them to make decisions that would be in their best interest. Training and education is key to keep staff up- to- date and safe. Also training and education enhances knowledge, skills, attitudes, and judgment. With the right training and education healthcare staff can communicate with patients they serve. Organization many times train their employees to take on extra responsibilities or to improve their skills (eHow, 2012). Training can include a guest from another organization or videos, depending on the size of the group that has to be train. Assessment an employee before and after training can show just how much the employee learned. Just because training is over supervisors must continue to make sure employees benefits from the training. All organization want a workforce that is competitive and retain high performance. If an organization is not performing according to the goals set out by the organization they can look forward to and unsuccessful organization. The importance of measuring competencies is to make sure the employee can provide quality services. Competency evaluation is important in the process of developing an employee's career development plan. One of the most important parts of performance management is coaching employees to develop the skills that may be holding them back from being successful or moving up in the organization. There are many reasons for measuring competencies in healthcare. Healthcare organization must make sure that certain expectation for competence are in place for their staff to perform certain standards. “Healthcare organization must meet certain criteria to provide services” (Measuring the Competence of Healthcare Providers, 2001). The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations requires certain verification of the possession of required skill, knowledge, qualification, or capacity of healthcare providers. Making sure the providers treat their patient right. Also if the problem is competence the organization must assess the situation. Healthcare organization are responsible for the way their staff provide quality of care. Making sure the staff are doing their jobs is very important. The training process is a very important part of an organization. The organization is held accountable for what their employee learn. Also they are responsible for how the employee to convey their knowledge to their work performance. Training has always been a top priority to any organization. To appraise the teaching it is understandable to know a certain amount about the course. Also Human Resources has to make sure the program will actually help their organization. If an organization knows what they need in training their employees then they should know what is required for training. Training can be expensive, however employers are wiling to pay the price to help their employee's. Also training helps in the growth and a movement toward the goal in an organization. In an organization change is good especially, if it keep the organization competitive. There are many ways to incorporate training and development into an organization. Training and development provides positive change and improvement in employees.
