Introduction

Many companies across the globe aim to have a skillful human resource team. This is very beneficial because it would allow those companies to excel over their competitors and also maintain a competitive advantage. According to Audra Bianca, “The human resources management team suggests to the management team how to strategically manage people as business resources. This includes managing recruiting and hiring employees, coordinating employee benefits and suggesting employee training and development strategies. In this way, HR professionals are consultants, not workers in an isolated business function; they advise managers on many issues related to employees and how they help the organization achieve its goals”. (Bianca 2011)
Common Roles in a Human Resource Project

For companies to successfully reach their strategic goals, they must have their projects in place, being that it is the most important method to be used. There are many roles to be identified so that the needs of a human resource project can be fulfilled. There are different levels in regards to human resource project and those include: executive, managerial and associate level. Sponsors, project managers, and core team members are the most common roles of those levels. Of course the roles of these levels have different responsibilities which allow team members to work together to have a rewarding completed project. The sponsor is defined as the person who provides the financial resources for the project. Management has a unique role on the project that can only be fulfilled by them and no one else. Sadly, many project managers do not realize that project management is not only a profession, but it is a science that requires unique efforts from management.
