Trust It or Trash It: www.cdlsusa.org Introduction
Having the fundamental ability to evaluate and determine the quality of a website is an important skill for a healthcare provider to possess. In a 2006 study, 80% of American adults turned to the internet for information on health related topics (Hanif, Read, Goodacre, Chaudhry, & Gibbs, 2009). This high degree of reliance on online information creates a conundrum due to the fact that online material varies greatly in quality, content, and credibility (Roberts, 2010). An online resource called Trust it or Trash it (2013) outlines that favorable websites contain information that is complete and of high quality and usability for the healthcare consumer.

There is evidence of past, current, and future research activities on the website. The extensive research data listed within the site provides a plethora of facts relating to CdLS. The website lists ten current studies that are recruiting participants for future research. Links for research grants are also available on the website. The website has a link to multiple research articles that are available through PubMed and date back to the 1980’s. The national registry for CdLS is also linked to the site and provides data that establishes prevalence of CdLS and creates the ability to connect patients with researchers (CdLS Foundation, n.d.). Funding is set up through a 501(c) (3) charity and relies on donor support. The 2013 financial statement shows a net asset of the foundation to be $1,041,559. Our service concept involves educating our target market about recycling (focusing on the recycling of electronics), motivating our target market to recycle electronic devices, collecting the devices and handling them to recycling facilities. We carried out an initial exploratory research in the form of a focus group and based on it, on our insights and perceptions about the relation between the issue of recycling and our school, and also based on secondary research, we developed a descriptive research in the form of a questionnaire in French composed by closed-ended questions to be answered by 100 francophone Skema students chosen randomly across various classrooms. We obtained a 100% response rate. The analysis of the study results has indicated that despite the fact that practically everyone considers recycling important, almost a third of the respondents don’t take into consideration how green a school is before applying to it. Most people recycle plastic and paper, but only a very small number recycle electronics. More than half of the respondents said they keep their old electronics for a while, but end up throwing them for not knowing what else to do. Additionally,...

The existence of persistence in performance is indicative of market Inefficiencies which some, but not all, fund managers are able to exploit. In an extension to the current literature the paper tests the proposition that changes to infrastructure, insomuch as they might affect market efficiency, affect the persistence of performance. Evidence is also presented on whether excess returns are the result of better skill or information for some managers or the existence of a momentum effect in stock returns. When picking a fund an investor faces a bewildering yet important choice from amongst several hundred product offerings and there is a considerable degree of price dispersion. Studies of Malaysia funds have relied on the assumption that conditions determining market efficiency, or the ability of fund managers to exploit inefficiencies, do not change significantly during the period examined. The first unit trust, Malaysia Investment Fund was launched in Dec. 2, 1966 by Asia Unit Trusts Be&ad. However, the industry can be expected to take off in the years ahead in light of recent...
