Education is the most important asset that anyone can acquire. Education is the key to success in life. As a student getting a good education is important. It is well known that American education is acknowledged around the world. Getting an American education will lead to a better paying jobs but the cost of higher education in America has significantly increased over the past three decades especially for international students. International students’ tuition should be reduced because it will bring more international students to schools and it also helps the students to perform better at school. The United States is the second most expensive country for international students after Australia. The average cost for an international student in America per annum in a higher education program amounts to 35,705 US Dollars, while that of an Ivy League school averages to 58,000 US Dollars annually, inclusive of tuition, fees, and living expenses. In fact, the cost is too high that most of the international students are forced to find extra means to raise it. Owing to my own experience as an international student, I am forced to work for up to 4-5 hours a day in restaurants or stores to help my parents pay for the high tuition and at the same time cater for my living expenses. This is quite tricky since one has to strike a balance between work and college studies. This is not only challenging but also has adverse affects in terms of individual’s academic performance. I happened to have a friend who was never able to balance the two, something that saw his grades greatly decline since he probably didn’t have time to study and do homework. My friend had to line up part-time employment, which she had arranged through the university, in which she had to go and babysit for an American family during her free time, and at the same time takes her lessons. This was really

Tuition Fee

...Should a university education be tuition free? Education is very important for everyone to get knowledge, social life, or good job. Many students want to go to university but not everyone can go there because of the problem of their financial support to go to university. From that cause, even though they want to go to university but should government support their university education for free? While some ordinary people and some students think that it should have a lot of advantages for them if a university education has tuition free, students should pay for their university education because they will get quality education, they will have responsibility to study and they will help their government save money to make education better, or to do something else. Universities have to consider students’ qualifies when they accept students to their university. On the other hand, students need universities that have quality too. Money support for university education from the government may not enough for hiring good teacher, tuition fee, materials, or text books. This cause impact to university and lend to low quality. The question is why students have to go to free university and do not get anything that they should get from the university? Maybe it is better to stay at home, or work if they didn’t get any knowledge from school. Many students have motivated to go to university whereas many students have not. But if the tuition is free, maybe the university will have a large number...
