H. Jackson Brown, Jr. once said, “Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye.” There were many big towns in Alabama, but also many small towns. Geneva, Alabama was one of those small towns that involved lots of excitement. There were many positive things about this town but also many negatives. One negative being, everybody knew your problems before you did. Geneva was very unique, and always promising a new adventure every day. The most excitement came from relationship problems, especially those of Shay Daughtry. Shay was a 16 year old girl who was boy crazy and had the kindest heart.She was one of the prettiest girls to roam Geneva High School which was why she was such a flirt. She was also very popular among all the student body, teachers, and community. Not only was she a star in the classroom, but a star in sports also. If Shay wasn’t your ideal girl, then I don’t know what was. One summer Shay met a boy named Jonathan and instantly fell head over heels for him. He was everything she ever wanted, or she thought so anyways. Shay was one of those people who had a lot of guy friends, because she said girls were too much drama. Her best friend was a boy named Nate Walls, who was going through a bad breakup. Shay was so head over heels for Jonathan, she pushed Nate away. Nate needed the love and support from his best friend, so he called her one day and they agreed to meet for lunch. Nate arrived on time, but he knew she would be running late because she met Johnathan earlier to give him his birthday present. Just as Nate was giving up hope of her coming, she finally showed up and he could tell she had been crying.

Everything is connected via coaxial cable and is referred to as passive, meaning that each computer on the network “listens” for data to pass by with its name. While this type of topology will suffice for small networks, it is not ideal for the current network at Ocper, inc. Another downside of the current topology is lag. While the network is small you may not notice the lag, or just assume the network is supposed to run this slow. Using coaxial cable as a network data path limits the amount of bandwidth available as well as the ability for two-way data flow. My recommendation would be to convert to twisted pair cabling. The twisted pair cable will allow you a larger bandwidth which in turn allows more computers to send more data across the network. Twisted pair will also allow two-way data flow, allowing for data to pass back and forth more effectively by “sharing” the bandwidth. For these reasons, twisted pair will allow you to transfer vital information back and forth across the network much more quickly, making the customer wait less.
