I. INTRODUCTION
A. Background of the Study
When we were still kids, we dream of what we want to be in the future. Older people will usually ask us if what we want to be in the future. Most of us will say, they want to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer to name some. We think and think about our career, but once we are already in the college level, we now dream to become successful in life and have a stable job.
But with the rate of unemployment here in country continue to increase, there are no guarantee that once we graduated we will have a job immediately. Unfortunately, many still fail to have stable jobs. Some even can’t find a job even though they graduated from top schools. Then we found ourselves ending in the pool of unemployment.

The study used Multiple Linear Regression Model to determined significant relationship between dependent and independent variables, covering data for 10 years period which are from 2003 until 2012. The researcher used three independent variables that affect the prices of gold which are crude oil prices, inflation rates and exchange rates. The empirical results have found there is negatively significant relationship between inflation rates and exchange rates on gold prices, while a crude oil price is positively significant. The results of the study are valuable for both academic and investor. Index Terms—determinant, gold prices, crude oil prices, inflation rates, exchange rates price and sell it at high price later on. Simply put, the findings for this research will bring benefit to individual, group as well as the government in analyzing the movement of the gold price. To discuss more about this topic, this research paper present the sensitivity of gold prices to the changes in the crude oil prices, inflation rates and exchange rates factor by taking 10 years data from...

To Study the Impact of Oil Price Shocks on the Macroeconomic Performance of China

Introduction Higher oil prices might affect the global economy through a variety of channels, including transfer of wealth from oil consumers to oil producers, a rise in the cost of production of goods and services, and impact on inflation, consumer confidence, and financial markets. In a pioneer work, Hamilton (1983) indicated that higher oil prices were responsible for almost all U.S recessions after World War II. Later other researchers extended Hamilton’s basic findings using alternative data and estimation procedures (such as Burbidge and Harrison, 1984; Gasser and Goodwin, 1986). Most of research on the mechanisms of oil price shocks has focused on either products or labor markets. However, analysis on real locative role effects of oil value shocks in capital markets has lagged behind. As Jones, Leidy and Paik...

The paper examines how is affected banking profitability (expressed through traditional measures of performance ROA - Return on Assets and ROE - Return on Equity) by the CRR Credit risk ratio in Romanian banking system during March 2008 - June 2013. We developed two regression models in order to study the dependence between mentioned variables. We found that ROA and ROE vary each of them depending on the CRR Credit risk ratio, which is expressed as the ratio of gross value of exposure to loans and related interest under “doubtful” and “loss” to total classified loans and related interest pertaining to non-bank loans, off-balance sheet items excluded. Love Sex and Morality

...Forecasting can be broadly considered as a method or a technique for estimating many future aspects of a business or other operation. There are numerous techniques that can be used to accomplish the goal of forecasting. For example, a retailing firm that has been in business for 25 years can forecast its volume of sales in the coming year based on its experience over the 25-year period—such a forecasting technique bases the future forecast on the past data. While the term "forecasting" may appear to be rather technical, planning for the future is a critical aspect of managing any organization—business, nonprofit, or other. In fact, the long-term success of any organization is closely tied to how well the management of the organization is able to foresee its future and to develop appropriate strategies to deal with likely future scenarios. Intuition, good judgment, and an awareness of how well the economy is doing may give the manager of a business firm a rough idea (or "feeling") of what is likely to happen in the future. Nevertheless, it is not easy to convert a feeling about the future into a precise and useful number, such as next year's sales volume or the raw material cost per unit of output. Forecasting methods can help estimate many such future aspects of a business operation. Suppose that a forecast expert has been asked to provide estimates of the sales volume for a particular product for the next four quarters. One can easily see that a number of other decisions will...

...Domestic Interest Rates (Treasury Bill Rates, Savings Deposit Rates and Lending Interest Rates) to Exchange Rate in the Philippines from 1990 up to 2012 By: Caalam, Marissa R. Lunar, Jermaine B. Maligro, Merriam T. Mendoza, Vannesa Aira T. Valenzuela, Jasper Clarence M. BSE 3-2 October 15, 2013 CHAPTER 1 THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND Introduction The relationship between interest rates and exchange rates has long been a key focus of international economics. Most standard theoretical models of exchange rates predict that exchange rates are determined by economic fundamentals, and one of this is the interest rate differential between home and abroad. According to Mundell-Fleming model, an increase in interest rate is necessary to stabilize the exchange rate depreciation and to control the inflationary pressure and also helps to avoid many adverse economic consequences. The following are the effects of the domestic interest rates. First, higher domestic interest rates raises the demand for deposits, and the money base. Second, firms need bank loans to finance the wage bill, which reduces output when domestic interest rates increases. Lastly, higher interest rates raise the government’s fiscal burden, and, therefore, can lead to a higher expected inflation. While the first effect tends to appreciate the currency, and the remaining two effects also tends to depreciate the currency. In particular, the exchange rate response depends upon on the size of the interest rate increase and...
