Running head: CREATING A BLOG

Creating a Blog

June 8, 2014

Abstract
This paper is about me creating a business blog for my company, and our employees. This blog will be different from other business blogs by being more open rather than strictly professional and uptight. This blog will be information driven and updated several times a day. Edits and submission will be done daily. This will give our readers fresh new content every time they long unto the site.

Creating a Blog
Blogs can be a great investment of one’s time. Not only can you make money from it. You can also play a big role in the lives of your readers.
Providing your readers with useful information is very important in today’s information based society. Today information is more readily available, more than ever before. Because information is prevalent people have become used to soaking in new information daily. My blog will play on that thirst for knowledge; providing up to the minute news information for the readers.
The Blog
The blog will be a blog for the company I work for. Topics that will be covered are everything about the business and the people within it, as well as topics on health, finances, life and so on. Basically, a one stop site for everything you need to know to be healthy and successful in our business. I believe this approach of including other aspects of life will make the blog more interesting. Rather than having just another boring company blog.
How it will differ
This blog will include guess authors, employees from around the company. It will also include a recruiting section, a comments and suggestions section, brainstorming, and community building. It will have more of a personal and relatable feel to it. According to Thill and Bovee (2011), “most business messages designed for large audiences are carefully scripted, and written in a corporate voice that is impersonal and objective” (p. 185). My blog will be totally different in that respect.
The construction The blog will be updated daily. Whenever new information is received it will be reported on so that our readers are up to date on all things current. If a particular employee would like to feature as a guest author the door is open to them any day. Information and all submissions will be collected throughout the day and will be uploaded to the blog immediately after the submissions have been proofread. My job will be to collect and edit information, and then submit that information as quickly as possible. I know that the employers and all of the other readers of the blog will appreciate the constant and new information. This way anytime they open the blog there will always be new content.

Experiential positions o Provide sensory stimulation o Provide cognitive stimulation Perceptual mapping Perceptual mapping provides answers to these vital questions: • What is your market position relative to your competitors? • What are your strengths and weaknesses? • Where are there gaps in the market? • How do you measure up to the “ideal?” • What strategies will improve your competitive position so that you are both relevant to the market and differentiated from competitors? The process includes developing the attributes—either functional, emotional, or both. Unit Iv Assignment

...Unit IV Assignment Question 1 According to the Textbook, The American Marketing Association defines a brand as “a name, term, sign, symbol, or design, or combination of them, intended to identify the goods or services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of competitors.” Brands identify the source or maker of a product and allow consumers either individuals or organizations to assign responsibility to for its performance to a particular manufacturer or distributor. Brand equity is the added value endowed on products and services. It may be reflected in the way consumers think, feel, and act with respect to the brand, as well as in the prices, market share, and profitability the brand commands. Your brand is represented by tangible elements that create a visual, auditory, and olfactory brand identity. For Example, your brand logo, color palette, marketing materials, letterhead, signage, messaging, and so on are all tangible representations of your brand that make up its sensory identity. If one element doesn’t fit into the brand identity, it can damage your entire brand. The key is consistency; our brand elements must consistently represent our brand promise as well as consumers perceptions and expectations for our brand. The brand promise, the brand perceptions, the brand expectations, the brand persona, and tangible assets such as Brand logo, messaging, and packaging are all brand elements which should be considered when differentiating...

Cliptomania, Llc Unit Iv

...Unit IV Case Study Unit IV Case Study The owners of "Cliptomania, LLC, a limited liability corporation" took a venture to sell "clip-on earrings" online, the owners Jim and Candy Santos, were not well versed in the operation or the creation of a profitable "webstore" website for the display of their merchandise and payment options (Brown, Dehayes, Hoffer, Martin & Perkins, 2012, p. 309). The first notable strategic issue at hand was in the launching of "the URL Cliptomania.com" e-business website (Brown et al., 2012, p. 309). Jim was determined to seek a way to get their business up and running. Jim found many of the resources that could potentially work, some of the resources the Santos pondered utilizing included: 1) contracting for hire a "internet service provider", 2) software purchase and installment fees (if applicable), and 3) hiring an employee with IT development knowledge and applicability (Brown et al., 2012, p. 309). Consequently the options are not favorable due to the high costs to utilize such measures. The second strategic issue at hand was the rising cost of running their e-business. The Santos' found that Yahoo! began to charge more and more over the span of four years (1999-2003); Yahoo! began to charge insignificant fees that the Santos would be giving away approximately "2.5 to 3.5 percent" for the processing of payments, not to include the "3.5 revenue" taxation to sell on the yahoo website (originating from "Yahoo! store search"), individual...

...UNIV 1001: Unit 3 Written Assignment According to the definition found at Merriam-Webster, the word “proctor” is defined as “one appointed to supervise students (as at an examination)” (Merriam-Webster, n.d.). One main reason why UoPeople requires proctored exams is to ensure academic integrity of students on exams; students are held accountable for not cheating. Having students find a proctor also helps the students to be self-aware of the consequences to cheating and other such actions since they know they are being monitored during exam period. From this, students will develop a habit of completing tasks with integrity. A good habit goes a long way, and will help students in their future career in developing a mindset of not taking advantage of others or abuse the right to use readily accessible resources.
