Every nation is rich in ancient culture. And in this most sacred wealth of folk wisdom, which is passed from mouth to mouth. Kazakh nation rich in its customs, traditions, poetry and musical creativity: aytys, bard, edifying words. That just did not survive the people, no matter how thorny his way, though he did not lose the collected bits of old culture and folk wisdom. The mentality of the Kazakh people is based on the trilogy in language, memory and culture as sung in the songs. The people paid special attention to education of the young generation. From an early age they pawned a sense of patriotism, love of country, respect for elders, support youth. The role of grandparents in the upbringing, which, pampering and loving grandchildren, telling them stories, legends, true story of the brave men, bis, and thus is born in them a sense of imitation, love of work empathy, responsibility, morality. A grandfather required knowledge by heart seven generations of ancestors, in order not to spoil the blood. People brought up children, gradually accustomed to labor, to the subsequent generation of grown-up have taken care of the elders. The environment also influenced the formation of the person, so the children were taught to choose the right friends. If there are not good friends, then parents try to save their child. And one of the important aspects in the education of every child is the desire to achieve the goal. Mistakes senior strictly pointed at them, but they are also gently guided to the right path. According to the articles which I have read I can divide authors’ opinions into several main topics such as Kazakh culture teaches children from the beginning to get a good marriage, secondly, it teaches healthy mind, respect elders, Kazakh nation is soft purity of conscience and also some changes in cultural events, traditions and cultures. The first main topic according to Atemova K. the Kazakh culture and its traditions teaches Kazakh nation to have a good marriage, Kazakh nation begin with preparation children to a new family, to be ready for their wife/ husband. From the very beginning our culture consider not to get marriage until 7 generation, the health of bride and by sparing attention to relatives they shouldn’t be ill with inherited illness, in result to keep clear blood and realized guarantee of health for descendant. Kazakh nation doesn’t allow to get marry until 7 generation (grandfather, father, son, grandson, great – grand son, etc.) it gives for each family to get marry after 500 years. In these 500 years the blood cleans so, that in its structure there wouldn’t stay the first relative – genetically mark, and if it stays there would be just only one peculiarity. The second is healthy mind according to Atemova K. and Kabakova M. healthy mind means to think in a positive way. If something happens out nation predict it to the good. Healthy mind expresses a healthy thought, in Kazakh nation it explains through their customs an outlook. Kazakh people always hoped to speak well, to think will, and because of it they forbidden to some will thoughts and wishes. Also they upbringing their youth with love and teaching them to think well. Don’t put your hard on your waist, don’t stand an the threshold, don’t hide your face, don’t offer your guests a cup of tea with the broken cup, don’t sway an empty cradle, don’t stand in old man’s way an so on. With the help of forbidden words, they teach children to believe to the good signs. The third is respecting, especially, respecting elders. According to Aueskhanova A. and Atemova K. in Kazakh culture the most important to respect each other, especially, to show your respect to elders. It is very important to learn from elders and to do things, which they are recommended and suggest you. The custom how to respect elders and their examples transmits from adults to the children during their sitting around the table. Young boy/ girl cannot across in front of elder people. Youth always pass elders first. But Kazakhs do not respect only elders, they are also respects young, for example, they care about little brothers/ sisters and parents also listen to their children. The fifth, not less important thing is that Kazakh nation is soft purity of conscience. They always teach youngster to be honest, to protect and support each other. Kazakhs raise their children in a good and lovely condition and make their children to be a good man in life. In that case Abay’s poem about 5 things is the best teaching poem. And the last one Ivanov K., Kozhakhmetova K., Kabakova M. all together identified some cultural changes in Kazakh traditions and customs. They mentioned that nowadays most of people make traditions easier and do not always save them. For example, some traditions, which include several parts, most of people do it all together. Also nowadays husband’s parents become more modern and do not so strict to their daughter-in-law, conversely they respect all her terms, and make her life more comfortable: help with babies and make her more freedom. In conclusion, all nations should respect their culture. My project about the role of culture in upbringing child in modern life is very interesting and helpful for me. I am also a youth generation of my culture. Before researches related topics for my project I do not know all our traditions and customs. I know about them a little bit, because I am also a Almaty citizen, I am also grow up in modern city, where not everyone uses traditions. In my opinion the best and covering my questions article was the article entitled “The value of Kazakh nation family’s upbringing” written by Atemova K. In her article I found a lot of examples and answers to my questions about our traditions. But also I would like to mention other not less important and helpful articles such as “Features of ethnic and cultural development of the child in the traditional system of education Kazakhs”, “Values and traditions of modern Kazakh family”, “Features folk pedagogy and education of members of the Kazakh ethnic group”, “Pedagogy of the Kazakh people”, “Raising children in the family” these articles gave me an additional information and were useful too.
