I believe I deserve to win the VMDAEC scholarship because I am a hard working student and committed to serving my community through volunteer service. My education is vital to my success after school and I wish to keep helping others during and after college. My parents hold membership in numerous civic organizations, so giving back has become second nature. I am active in my community in multiple ways. One way is through my local Boy Scout troop.
