1) In the interview, Mark Zuckerberg made several comments that pointed towards which characteristics would make a great entrepreneur. The first was that you had to be ok with making mistakes. He goes on to talk about how without making mistakes, his company would never have grown. “The biggest risk is not taking any risk.” – Mark Zuckerberg. In this quotes he states how important it is for companies to move forward and to try something new. He goes on to talk about how in this quick-paced world the only true mistake you can make is by not trying to move forward. Another characteristic that wasn’t explicitly stated that I picked up on was passion. You can tell while watching the interview that Mark is a very passionate man when it comes to talking about the way his product works. When he goes into the more technical details of certain elements of Facebook, you can see his eyes light up, his change in posture, and his vocal mannerisms change. It is because of how passionate he is and how badly he wanted to see his idea become real that allows him to be a great entrepreneur. The last characteristic that I will state is resourcefulness. Mark talks about how in his early being at silicon valley really helped him. The reason for this is, that back then Mark didn’t know as much about the industry as he does now. He describes that at the time if he didn’t know how to do something or needed help with something, that there were tons of people for him to get help from. He goes on to say that if he were trying to make the company today that he would preferably have stayed in Boston but as the interviewer points out that may have not worked due to the lack of resources he had at his disposal. 2) Mark believes his biggest management mistake was almost selling the company. He doesn’t go into why he believed that to be such a large mistake but he does go on to talk about how
