Gooseberry Falls State Park
Upper falls and Lower falls on River Gorge... Very pretty but the water is very muddy due to the soil and type of rocks there. No admission fee.

Split Rock Lighthouse State Park
A very nice old lighthouse. The visitors are allowed to climb up the lighthouse. There is Keeper's home open for visitors. Preserved from the 19th century. No Admission fee was required. http://www.mnhs.org/places/sites/srl/index.htm Tettegouche State Park
It was a bit of a walk on a slippery muddy path.. was around 1 mile walk to the waterfall. Can't go into the water, as the view is from the top... There is a suspended rope bridge built on the river which is nice... Vehicle permit of $5 was required before entering the park. The permit is valid for the whole day till 10 pm and works in all the state parks around.

Stay at Radisson: Booked Radisson through Priceline, got a very good deal. Upon reaching, got a free upgrade to the King Suite. Hotel was clean and in the heart of Duluth Downtown.

We made reservations at the Radisson restaurant for 8:30 PM, but we reached quite late. The restaurant closes at 10 PM! The bar and snacks are still open till 1 AM... But we were really hungry!

We got dinner from a very good Thai restaurant. (Thai Krathong) Either we were too hungry or the food was really tasting very good. G said he had never had such good Egg rolls from a Thai restaurant. The food was really tasty and the quantity was enough for 4 people!

Sunday:

Woke up really late in the morning, tired by all the hiking we did the previous day!

We decided to eat Brunch at JJ Astor Restaurant in Radisson. A very nice experience of revolving restaurant. The food was not that A rated tasty, but it was good. I had Eggs Benedict and Garuav had the traditional breakfast... Jam was very good... Had a nice 360 deg view of Duluth city from the restaurant. I wonder how the waiters would remember where to go to serve the food after they come out of the kitchen! :P

The weather was starting to become cold. We decided to do some indoor activity and planned to go to the Duluth Aquarium - Parking was $5 and the entry fee per person was $16.5... Nothing worth $16 unless you have kids with you who would really enjoy the Otter show at 2:00 PM!!!!

I wanted to ride the train so we decided to take a scenic tour through train.(North Shore Scenic Railroad) Ticket was $15 per person.. a 2.5 hours narrated ride on the train by the lake Superior.. It took us till Lester River.... The speakers in the train had really low volume.. So, if you are really interested in listening to the history and etc, sit somewhere quiet, where there are no kids! :P It was a fun ride though! G did not enjoy this ride that much... There is a pizza train on Thu, Fri and Sat... http://www.northshorescenicrailroad.org/Home/exdaily.asp In all I enjoyed the weekend! We saw a lot of places in such short time...

Living History

...___________________________ LIVING HISTORY Hillary Rodham Clinton Simon & Schuster New York • London • Toronto • Sydney • Singapore To my parents, my husband, my daughter and all the good souls around the world whose inspiration, prayers, support and love blessed my heart and sustained me in the years of living history. AUTHOR’S NOTE In 1959, I wrote my autobiography for an assignment in sixth grade. In twenty-nine pages, most half-filled with earnest scrawl, I described my parents, brothers, pets, house, hobbies, school, sports and plans for the future. Forty-two years later, I began writing another memoir, this one about the eight years I spent in the White House living history with Bill Clinton. I quickly realized that I couldn’t explain my life as First Lady without going back to the beginning―how I became the woman I was that first day I walked into the White House on January 20, 1993, to take on a new role and experiences that would test and transform me in unexpected ways. By the time I crossed the threshold of the White House, I had been shaped by my family upbringing, education, religious faith and all that I had learned before―as the daughter of a staunch conservative father and a more liberal mother, a student activist, an advocate for children, a lawyer, Bill’s wife and Chelsea’s mom. For each chapter, there were more ideas I wanted to discuss than space allowed; more people to include than could be named; more places visited than could be described...

Bloodlines of the Illuminati

...Bloodlines of Illuminati by: Fritz Springmeier, 1995 Introduction: I am pleased & honored to present this book to those in the world who love the truth. This is a book for lovers of the Truth. This is a book for those who are already familiar with my past writings. An Illuminati Grand Master once said that the world is a stage and we are all actors. Of course this was not an original thought, but it certainly is a way of describing the Illuminati view of how the world works. The people of the world are an audience to which the Illuminati entertain with propaganda. Just one of the thousands of recent examples of this type of acting done for the public was President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address. The speech was designed to push all of the warm fuzzy buttons of his listening audience that he could. All the green lights for acceptance were systematically pushed by the President’s speech with the help of a controlled congressional audience. The truth on the other hand doesn’t always tickle the ear and warm the ego of its listeners. The light of truth in this book will be too bright for some people who will want to return to the safe comfort of their darkness. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with real facts, not theory. Some of the people I write about, I have met. Some of the people I expose are alive and very dangerous. The darkness has never liked the light. Yet, many of the secrets of the Illuminati are locked up tightly simply because secrecy is a way...

He was a model enlightened entrepreneur, a fact that took me years to appreciate. His compassion with his employees and dedication to service inspired me to be a better businessman and a better person. When I was growing up, he liked to say, “Son, the most important word in the English language is ‘empathy.’ ” When I told him I was starting a business, his first words were, “Always treat your employees right.” He learned that appreciation the hard way, losing his father at a young age and countless war buddies in the trenches.
