I am reading “The Bass, The RIver, and Sheila Mant” by W.D. Wetherll, and I am on page 3. So far this book is about a boy who has a crush on a girl named Sheila Mant. After a whole summer of watching and studying her, he asked her to go to see a band with him. As they canoed to the concert, the boy catches a huge bass, and really wants to reel it in but does not because Sheila hates fishing and he does not want her to know that he loves it. In the journal I will be questioning and connecting.
