Femininity and Masculinity views have changed rapidly over time. The Taming of the Shrew is a 1967 film directed by Franco Zeffirelli. It is based of a play by William Shakespeare. 10 Things I Hate About You, is a 1999 comedy directed by Gil Junger. Back in the Elizabethan time, males were the Rough and Tough workers and the females were the ones who stayed at home and were considered weak. According to Dictionary.com Mysogyny is the dislike or hatred of women. I felt like these films represent misogyny in very different ways but yet also very similar.

Masculinity and Femininity are very important themes in both movies. I thought that The Taming of the Shrew contained more masculinity than 10 things. In both films Femininity is demonstrated
