When using a tap to cut a thread it is important to drill the correct size hole for the particular thread that is being cut, because If the hole is drilled too large then there will be insufficient thread so that a bolt or pipe would pull out of the thread. If the hole is too small then the tap will break.

The tap wrench are in their holder and are stored in the cupboard so they are easily found, when we want to work on them. The tapes are stored in their case and stored in the cupboard so they are easily accessed and are protected from damages made by other materials

What did you use these tools for and what were you able to achieve by completing this task?
I have used this tool to make a screw thread on top of my upper and lower stay rod so I could attach the my two side plates on top. I firstly used the drill press to make a hole of the correct diameter on top of the upper and lower stay rode and then I used the tap to form the internal thread in the hole.

What servicing and repairs are needed with regard to this tool?
Use good lubrication in order to prevent built up edge and chip blockage and back it out after every few turns, cleaning the chips of metal off the tap and lubricating it again. If the tapping effort ever suddenly increases, back out the tap and clean the chips.
