The busy day was at school already half passed as the three class mates also best friends sat with each other having lunch in the classroom. It was too quiet because of a certain cheerful brunette’s gloomy mood. Makoto kept staring at how the young girl kept her palm placed on her neck as if she was hiding something and stayed quiet. Tsurugi, after staring both of them for 10 minutes of complete quietness and feeling awkward, finally decided to break the silence.
“Hey did you guys hear about the bon festival!?” the orange haired boy spoke cheerfully “It starts from tomorrow ma dude and dudette!”
“So..?” The blunette looked back at him not feeling too excited over the news.
“Sooo.. I thought the three of us should go and have some fun there!” Tsurugi winked at Makoto as he gently pointed towards the rose eyed girl to cheer her mood up a bit.
Makoto understood his friend and looked towards Asuna “Asu chan! He’s right! Let’s go there tomorrow evening... what do ya say?” He smiled softly at the girl.
Asuna finally moved her gaze towards the boys and both of the guys eyes widened a bit to see the tear stains on her pinkish white cheeks “I..I don’t think so guys.. We have guests tomorrow and I should stay home to help out with my dad..” She spoke in a sad voice tone and the blunette could clearly see that the girl was lying.
“Enough Asuna! Would ya just tell us what happened to ya!?” Makoto couldn’t take more of her silence and excuse to hide her grief “You look like you were drunk woman just look at those heavy eyes” Tsurugi face palmed at the teen’s reaction.
Asuna’s eyes filled up with tears again as she thought that its no use hiding it all from her best friends. They knew her since long enough to figure out if her mood is normal or not. The girl slowly took her palm away from her neck and covered her soft face with her palms gently as she cried. There was a bloody scratch on her neck which seemed to have been caused by a person’s finger nails.
Makoto and Tsurugi stared at the wound with eyes wide open.
“Asu chan… How did thi..” Before a shocked orange haired boy could finish his sentence, Makoto quickly got up from his chair and held the girl’s chin gently turning her face to see the scratch properly “WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!!?” He yelled as his eyes widened.
The whole class turned its gaze towards the blunette and seemed shocked at his words. Tsurugi again face palmed as he sweat-dropped a bit “Oh Makoto..” The boy sighed.
Asuna looked up as her eyes met the ruby eyed teen and she began to cry out so loud that the whole class started to get worried over her condition as they stared at her.
“A..Asuna.. Does it hurt..? Did I hurt ya…? I’m so sorry” The blunette was almost starting to shiver as he heard the girl’s painful cry and took his hand away gently placing it on her shoulder.
“I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!!..” The apple red eyed girl cried louder.
“Makoto.. what did you say to her?” A girl who was one of their class mates stood in front of the three teens as she wondered why the girl had cried so badly.
Makoto was too confused and scared suddenly due to Asuna’s crying that he didn’t care to reply that girl. His eyes hid behind the shadow of his hair as he stood there quietly.
Tsurugi told everyone that it’s no big deal and Makoto has nothing to do with it. He told them Asuna only has a wound which is hurting her a lot right now.
As the younger boy distracted everyone, Asuna quickly got up wiping her tears as she held the blunette’s hand and ran outside the classroom to a quiet place where they could talk alone.
“Kinomiya kun! I’m so sorry for all that commotion back there..” She leaned against the wall gently looking down at her feet and kept her hands behind her back.
“You scared me..” The blunette muttered softly still feeling worried.
“G…gomen nasai.. It’s my boyfriend… he did this to me..” She spoke softly as she closed her eyes “Last night he called me to come over at his house and said he wants me to meet his parents..”
“What..? Then..?” Makoto asked in a very low and sort of a sad voice tone.
“I didn’t know he would be drunk again… He never talked nicely to me since we ever got into a stupid relation… Last night was too much..!” She continued telling.
“Did he…” The blunette’s eyes widened as he thought of something disturbing.
“What!? You think…? OH GOD! NO BAKA SAN!” She yelled a bit loud but still kept her voice low.
“Then.. what’s that scratch supposed to tell me?” Makoto clenched his fist slowly.
“He beat me up.. badly” The tear slowly ran down her soft cheek as she spoke.
“HE WHAT!?” Makoto yelled.
“Shhh..” Asuna tried to calm him.
“WHO DOES THAT HOBO THINK HE IS? THE HULK!? I’LL BEAT THAT BASTARD TO A PULP I SWEAR!!” Makoto felt very furious as he gritted his teeth “WHAT MADE HIM DO SUCH A THING TO YOU!? Whatever the reason is! Beating up a girl is way too much!” He punched the wall in anger but Asuna quickly held his arm.
“Well.. I’ll tell you…” Asuna spoke softly as she held Makoto’s fist gently.
Flashback
"You fucking bitch! I know you've been screwing around."
Asuna stared at Ken, her boyfriend of six months "You're kidding me, right?"
He walked over to her, towering over the girl "Don't lie to me. I know you're fucking around with someone else. Who is it?"
"Ken san! I don't know what you're talking about. Where are you getting this information from..?"
"Shut up! Who the fuck is it?" He yelled.
Asuna glared at him. "I Thought you wanted me to shut up.." She seemed super annoyed and angry at the bastard’s behavior.
She was suddenly slapped across the face with enough force to knock her to the floor. The brunette sat there in shock, holding a hand to her soft reddening cheek.
"Stop fucking around. Now for the last time, who are you screwing around with!?"
Asuna looked up at him, tears welling in her eyes. "I'm not screwing around! Why don't you believe me!? I would never cheat! I’m not like that..!"
She cried out as he grabbed a handful of her hair, and pulled her up. He scratched her neck in anger and she yelled very loud as tears were streaming down her face.
"Either tell me now, or I'll beat the fucking hell outta you!"
At that moment, Asuna did what she thought was the best thing to do. She was a tough girl so she gave him a good kick in his stomach and bolted out of the maniac’s house leaving him fallen down on floor in pain screaming after her.
(end of flashback)
“and after that… he called me again at 4am while I was shivering in bed crying.. I couldn’t sleep all night Makie.. And I clearly told him everything between us is over for good!” Asuna sounded like she was about to cry again but the blunette quickly placed his palm on her cheek and hugged her slowly to comfort her.
“Good riddance Asuna chan.. You don’t deserve that fuckin prick..” He spoke gently while wiping her tears with his thumb “But that doesn’t mean I’ll let him go.. Just you wait I will beat the crap outta him.. How dare he touch you!?”
Asuna gently looked up into the teen’s deep eyes and she suddenly felt a bit warm “N..No makie I don’t want you to hurt him with your fists..” She blushed gently as she kept staring and continued “I want you to kill him with jealousy..”
“huh..?” Makoto raised an eye brow slowly while gazing back into the girl’s eyes.
“Yes.. jealousy.. Be my boyfriend.. Makoto kun!” Asuna’s lips somehow turned naturally dark pink and bright as she spoke gently.
“W..WHAT!!?” Makoto blushed furiously as he heard the girl’s soft and slightly seductive tone of voice asking him to be her guy.
“What’s the matter…? Aren’t I pretty enough Makie kun..?” Her beautiful bright red eyes glittered gently and were only half open as she stared into the teen’s ruby eyes and her snow cheeks slowly turned red. She moved closer to Makoto holding his shirt tightly in her grip and the boy felt like he was gonna faint any minute. She moved her shiny white legs gently as she felt her tight panties were squeezing against her soft womanhood flesh.
“A..Asuna.. what are you do..” He felt like his heart will explode if it kept pumping so fast. He moved back a bit trying to get away gently but slowly felt the wall appear behind him. He was beginning to sweat a bit. It was a feeling so new yet so extreme to him.
“Damn it.. This is… too much...OH GOD .. why is she.. uhh..??” He thought to himself as he tried to control his poor private area from getting erect. The girl was one heck of a hot seducer. But Makoto was confused at the same time about her sudden actions towards him. He could feel her hot breath on his lips.
Just as the girl came so close to the boy’s lips she placed two of her fingers on em gently and smiled sweetly closing her eyes while wrapping her other arm around his neck “Aww why are ya shy?.. I want you to be my PRETEND BF Makie!”
The boy came back to his senses suddenly as he looked at her weirdly “P..Pretend boyfriend!?” He mumbled slowly.
“Yea! Like act that you are my man and we’ll show him what a big mistake he made hurting a hot gal like me!” She grinned innocently “It’ll kill him! Hahaha!! And its only for a month Makoto” She smiled warmly and in response all the boy could do was gaze at her giggling cutely as he felt a bit of a sweet pain in his chest. His cheeks turned a soft red color but he didn’t know what the feeling was about.
“Ahm…” Gou Hiwatari felt quite weird over what he just saw as he stood in front of the teens “Well.. What a surprise” He spoke in a serious yet calm voice tone.
The two teens quickly unwrapped their arms from around each other and stood up straight “G..Gou!!” Makoto yelled a bit loud “I SWEAR I..ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK DUDE!” Asuna sweat-dropped and blushed heavily as she felt quite embarrassed.
“I don’t think anything Kinomiya.. You both are in your late teens and I understand what you must do to fulfill your NEEDS. I mean … just frikkin get outta my place.. I come here to seek silence..” He closed his eyes gently and sweat-dropped slightly. (It was very rare for the Hiwataris to sweat drop XD)
“o..ok.. But really man.. Clear your mind from any sort of doubts.. Ok? p.. please? For Rin’s sake?” Makoto mumbled in embarrassment.
“GET LOST WILL YOU!! I get it already!..” Gou himself turned slightly red upon hearing a certain pink haired girl’s name.
“Man..” Makoto walked with Asuna and glared at her for making that stupid move “Couldn’t you just explain the bf thing from a distance woman!?” He sounded annoyed and Asuna giggled while blushing.
“It’s so much fun explaining it this way! So do you agree Makie?” She asked cheerfully.
“umm.. What’ll I get in return?” He asked the brunette.
“WHAT!? You’re getting to date such a sexy girl and you still want something in return?” She teased the blunette as she wiggled her hips a bit hotly.
“Yea right woman! Bahaha!” Makoto laughed gently “Gotta love that confidence in ya!” He smirked softly.
“hmph! Fine! Be my bf for a month and I’ll give you my pocket money for two months! This one and the next… Deal?” She pouted cutely reaching her palm out in front of him.
“hmm.. It’s a DEAL! But for a month only” The boy shook her hand gently.
“Fine! Pain in the ass!” She hugged his arm gently grabbing it with both her arms as she chuckled “YAY! NEW BF!”
“S..Stop it girl…! People are gonna look at us!” Makoto tried to free his arm slowly.
“So? Let em look! We are boyfriend and girlfriend now!” She smiled cutely while closing her eyes “First date! Tomorrow!”
Makoto looked down at her softly and felt that weird sweet pain again in his heart. He was confused at how blindly he does whatever the girl says most of the times yet somehow felt happy and warm about it at the same time. He blushed gently and thought that he wasn’t really gonna take the darn money. Her smile and joy alone were enough to satisfy him..

Beat Generation

...Ugliness! […] Moloch! Moloch! […]” (Howl part 2, 3-6). According to Ginsberg: “Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.” Which also demonstrates Ginsberg’s poem has no form, and it is the chosen phrases that express his mind. Ginsberg believed strongly that traditional formalist considerations were archaic and didn't apply to reality. Though the language of Ginsberg’s poem is vulgar and coarse, it is inevitable in its description, which reveals his masculine. “Who let themselves be fucked in the ass by saintly motorcyclists, and screamed with joy […]”(Howl part 1). “The smoked ashes of some cock cigar, the cunts of wheelbarrows and the milky breasts of cars, worn out ashes out of chairs […]” (Sunflower Sutra). Seattle's Argumentative Essay: Women In Power

...When women in power take on a city’s beloved sports institution, shocking things can happen. Earlier this month, the five women who make up the first female majority on Seattle’s nine-member city council in nearly two decades voted against a street-use ordinance that would have helped bring a new basketball arena to the city. The women immediately faced a wave of misogynistic attacks, violent threats, and charges of gender-based incompetence.* Some writers simply called the women names: “I fucking hate those BITCHES ,THERE NOT GONNA BE IN OFFICE IN 2 YEARS AND THEY SAY NO .. THEY CAN BURN IN HELL,” said one letter. Others said the council members lacked the intelligence to understand how important sports are to the city: “This is why women...

The mediums to transmit ironic and satiric effects, however, can change with the course of time. The use of them in TV series evoked my interest to examine this phenomenon. Irony and Sarcasm are the stylistic features principally used in the comic TV series South Park. Although the concept and the humor of the show remains the same, the success now persists for more than a decade. For that reason, I decided to make use of excerpts of this series and to analyze the methods of how irony and satire are created. Despite the sentiment of many that South Park is nothing but a threat to young people because of its massive use of scatological language, a multitude of messages can be uncovered in this TV series. Therefore, not only the surface structure of the often-obscene content has to...

IF TOMORROW COMES by Sidney Sheldon, ©1985 BOOK ONE Chapter 01 New Orleans THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20--- 11:00 P.M. She undressed slowly, dreamily, and when she was naked, she selected a bright red negligee to wear so that the blood would not show. Doris Whitney looked around the bedroom for the last time to make certain that the pleasant room, grown dear over the past thirty years, was neat and tidy. She opened the drawer of the bedside table and carefully removed the gun. It was shiny black, and terrifyingly cold. She placed it next to the telephone and dialed her daughter's number in Philadelphia. She listened to the echo of the distant ringing. And then there was a soft "Hello?" "Tracy... I just felt like hearing the sound of your voice, darling." "What a nice surprise, Mother." "I hope I didn't wake you up." "No. I was reading. Just getting ready to go to sleep. Charles and I were going out for dinner, but the weather's too nasty. It's snowing hard here. What's it doing there?" Dear God, we're talking about the weather, Doris Whitney thought, when there's so much I want to tell her. And can't. "Mother? Are you there?" Doris Whitney stared out the window. "It's raining." And she thought, How melodramatically appropriate. Like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. "What's that noise?" Tracy asked. Thunder. Too deeply wrapped in her thoughts, Doris...
