Children of Eden, Joey Graceffa: In Children of Eden by Joey Graceffa, Rowan the main character mattered the most to me in a positive way, because she was so strong even when her father didn’t like her and she was an outcast. She was never permitted to leave her house, wasn’t supposed to be alive, and she had never been able to see the outside world beyond her house, which never felt like home to her anyway, living in the walls and hiding away for her whole life as a teenager. She stayed hopeful, wishing for a chance to be like her brother, who experienced everything she could ever hope for in her life, like a crush.
