“More young athletes are saying that America's favorite sport is just too dangerous.” By Jenn Shotz. My own opinion - she is right. Kids should not play football, because it's to risky.
It was interesting for me, to read that Stern, who is also the director of the Alzheimer's Disease Center Clinical Core and director of clinical research at the Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Center at the university, reported the findings with his colleagues in the Jan. 28 issue of Neurology. The study authors pointed out that, on average, children who play football between the ages of 9 - 12 experience between 240 and 585 head hits per season, which a force that is comparable to that experienced by high school and college players. The decision:” Playing football as a kid increases brain damage risk.”

I find, that too many kids get hurt in this games. They became aggressive, because of the style of football, how it work. A lot of them have the great quantity of problems with the health, terrible life after getting hurt. I do not see the reason, to do the steps, for the life to became dangerous. It is too risky. Some parents are not right to put their kids life in risk. They let them play football. I absolutely think, that they are wrong! Do they explain for the kids, what result can be?! To check statistics... It's easy! For you, immediately to understand, why your child do not need to play football.
If you can't understand....sorry. Vanity Fair !

Here is the words of the President of the USA - Barack Obama: “I would not let my son play pro football. It's sort of the same realm( as boxing ). At this point, there's a little bit of “ Caveat Emptor “. These guys , they know they're doing .They know ,what they're buying into. It is no longer a secret . It's sort of the feelings I have about smokers , you know ? “Barack Obama ,44th President of the United States

The Strength Of American Football Essay

...American football has always been one of the most popular sports in United States. A lot of parents sign their kids up for football at an early age in hopes of raising a new football superstar. But is it alright for minors (kids under 18) to play tackle football? I think yes for the following reasons: football helps kids be strong and athletic, football can teach important life lessons, and new technologies make football safer than ever. In football, there is a need for strength and athleticism. The game almost forces you to go to the weight room and put up some muscle. When you are the weakest player on the field, it’s no fun at all. But when your arms are bulging with muscle, it’s easy to cause fumbles, get sacks, and tackle your opponent. The game itself makes you strong. And when you are strong, you are healthy. That’s why parents should let kids play tackle football. Their kids will lose all their fat on the field. Also, football makes you athletic. When you get into different situations, you learn how to get out of them. The definition of athletic is physically strong, fit, and active. You become all of those things when you play a dynamic game like football....

Why High School Football Shouldn't Be Banned.

...Vern M. Rotruck Lyndsey Daniel Comp I MWF 12:00 19 November 2014 Why High School Football Shouldn’t Be Banned. Football, ever since it began, has had the constant question of should it be banned. Footballs origins began back in ancient Greece where even then it was known as a very rough and brutal game. When football came to England it was thought to be so rough that kings Henry II and Henry IV both actually banned it. A lot has changed since those times in history. We now have equipment for the game and every year the equipment keeps evolving into a more safety conscious design for the player. Rules for the game also keep changing throughout the years with the player’s safety in mind as well. Because of these changes, it has greatly improved the sport for the player and shouldn’t be banned do to its once rough past. When people think of football one of the first things that comes to one’s mind is injuries that the player may receive. “Dr. R. Dawn Comstock and her staff analyze the data to describe the rates, patterns, and trends of high school sports-related injuries. Such epidemiologic analysis is the necessary first step toward the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, targeted prevention programs to reduce the number and/or severity of injuries among high school athletes.”(University of Denver Colorado). Each high school has their own programs that is mentioned by Dr. Comstock in place to help alleviate those injuries. Here this year Riddell...
