Three applications of knowledge that I would say has really stuck with me are Diversity, Management, Leadership and Internal Organization, and Ethics. Over the 11-week course period, I have learned a great amount of information from the course material and also from the individuals in the course. Everyone got to share their experiences and witnessing in the real life and workplace and was able to relate it to what we are learning in this class. Diversity is very important, as we all know that in today’s economy, we have people from several parts of the world coming to one place to have something in common. It could be from sales, to customer care to managerial factors. The business world has grown with not just one particular set of race but vast with knowledge to make things easy. I also value Ethics and I believe that ethics should be the number one rule in everything that we do. We must be ethically conscious of our surroundings and other cultures in general, let alone in the business world. And lastly, Management and Leadership go a long way. I can’t stress this enough on how important of a factor it is when creating a business or when managing an organization. One must not only portray the skills, but must also live up to it so we can set good examples for the ones coming behind us. It is also an important aspect of running an organization; a good leadership will also elevate the organization to better standards and higher success level and will also produce effective employees.
