Abstract

Kudler Fine Foods is an upscale specialty food store. Kudler Fine Foods stocks the very best domestic and imported in the following departments; fresh bakery and pastries, fresh produce, fresh meat and seafood, condiments and packaged foods, and also in cheese’s and specialty dairy products. Kudler Fine Food’s mission is to provide customers the finest in selected food stuffs, wines, and related needs. Kudler Fine Foods would like to develop a system to track customer purchases through a frequent shopper program to award the customer with loyalty points that can be redeemed by the customer. We will specify what functions will be included in the project and the goals of the project, specify tangible measures for success, we will also include specific operational, technical, and economic feasibility analysis, provide a flowchart and a separate high-level logical data flow diagram of the current process, and a list of the specific individual requirement needs.

Statement of Scope and Goals

Kudler Fine Foods, a local upscale specialty food store, is looking to give back to its customers. They are not interested in just lowering the price of their items to compete with the other food stores in the area; instead they would like to offer an incentive that would bring customers to their store to purchase items at their already low price. They would like to offer a program that rewards customers for buying their products and shopping at their store. To achieve their goal of giving back to their customers they wish to implement a Frequent Shopper Program that awards loyalty points for the items purchased. To determine the amount of loyalty points each customer should get they will need to track the purchases of each individual customer.
