• INFECTIOUS LARVAE - transmitted to humans by mosquito bites • ADULT WORM - develop from larvae, reside in the lymphatic vessels • MICROFILARIAE - produced by mated adults and found in host bloodstream, when acquired by mosquito develop into infectious larvae
