Ways to improve effective communication - Continually practice writing in the language - write with a clear purpose that meets the needs of the reader - decide what you want to say and put this in a logical and suitable sequence - Use words, sentences, paragraphs and layout to convey your meaning concisely, courteously and confidently - Edit your own work critically. - written work must undergo three important stages • planning, • Writing, and • editing.
