Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Young people should take several different kinds of jobs before they decide which career to pursue in the long term.

There is no denying that nowadays in modern society, stronger animals prey on weaker ones. Everyone wants to have a good job and beat others. So many young people begin to consider their future: whether they should make a try in different sectors such as financial services and education area to find their "true love" or they just insist in one single career to get working experience in a certain field. Personally speaking, I would recommend young people to take different jobs before they decide what they really want to do.

Young people who have taken various jobs can learn diverse professional knowledge and skills. Different occupations allow young people to study related knowledge from experts in different fields. In that way, young people can broaden their minds and it will be definitely help them in the future working. Take my brother as an example. My brother graduated from a business school. After his graduation, he stayed at the university and was a university professor. Through teaching the students, he consolidated his knowledge and had his own views over business. Later he found that he wanted to apply the knowledge he have learned to the practical business world so he went to work as a marketing manager in a company. In the company, he learned how a company was working and he was deeply attracted. Then he finally started up his own business by using his professional knowledge background and rich working skills.

In addition, trying different jobs will also make young people be more confident. Young people need to figure out new things by themselves and learn from it. Nowadays, many young people are facing very competitive job market. And when they step into this, it will be all

...Topic: Some people think that self study is a good way for adults. Others think that it is better for them to attend a class. Discuss both views and give your opinion. There is a body of opinion that self-study is a good method for mature people to gain knowledge. While some people may advocate this, I would contend that attending a class should be recommended as a better learning way. On the one hand, adults should learn by themselves due to several reasons. Firstly, self-study bings people freedom of learning time without any resriction. This means that they can learn after their meals, while waiting the bus or even stay up all night for learning as long as they feel comfortable. Thus, the more time people spend on practicing, the better result they can obtain. Secondly, people can make study material of their own. For example, there are various ways for each people to learn English vocabulary. Some people prefer reading out loud and bear new words in mind, others try to note down words several times in order to memorize them.  On the other hand, I would argue that attending a class is a better method for adults to broaden their own knowledge. Primary, classes give people more interaction with the professor and other students in the class. A professor may pose a question or lead a discussion in order to make connections between students, therefore they can clarify unclear ideas and support together to give the best answers. In addition, students can be more prepared for their...

Abstract Writting

...Abstracts What is an abstract? An abstract is a self-contained, short, and powerful statement that describes a larger work. Components vary according to discipline; an abstract of a social science or scientific work may contain the scope, purpose, results, and contents of the work. An abstract of a humanities work may contain the thesis, background, and conclusion of the larger work. An abstract is not a review, nor does it evaluate the work being abstracted. While it contains key words found in the larger work, the abstract is an original document rather than an excerpted passage. Types of abstracts There are two types of abstracts: descriptive and informative. They have different aims, so as a consequence they have different components and styles. There is also a third type called critical, but it is rarely used. For the purpose of your research project, students will be required to write an informative abstract. Descriptive abstracts A descriptive abstract indicates the type of information found in the work. It makes no judgments about the work, nor does it provide results or conclusions of the research. It does incorporate key words found in the text and may include the purpose, methods, and scope of the research. Essentially, the descriptive abstract describes the work being abstracted. Some people consider it an outline of the work, rather than a summary. Descriptive abstracts are usually very short—100 words or less. Informative abstracts ...

...What are the main purposes of ambulatory care? _ Ambulatory care is the medical service for outpatients. There are many medical problems which don’t require you to go to the hospital, like first aid, small degree burns, cuts, wounds, bandages, blood tests, x-rays, etc. I think that ambulatory care is way faster than going and sitting in a hospital for hours._ Do you think Ambulatory Care is changing society’s view on healthcare? Why or Why not? Yes, I feel that today’s society has gotten to the point where they think if it breaks we can just fix it or toss it out and get another on. They don't stop to appreciate what it is they have. They do the same with their bodies and think that so much can be cured at home or on the way to the hospital that it doesn't matter if they loose an arm or a leg doing something stupid, "Oh they'll just put it back on" Not so simple, there is blood loss, nerve damage, and what if the limb is no good ounce you get there. *How can its* service’s improve? _I think it could improve by better assisting with the patients when they arrive. Help them to the waiting area. While you are doing that find out is they have any questions or concerns. Make rounds in the patient care area every 30 minutes to check the transfer and patient flow boards to obtain information to report to families in the waiting room. Maintain an ongoing log of communication between patients and visitors. You don’t want them to feel like they are a burden. You are there to help them...

...Classic Moscow Mule Table of Contents Introduction 2 Materials 3 Health and Safety 4 -Health and Safety Tips -Cutting Safety Specific Tips -Alcohol Safety Instructions 5 Moscow Mule Introduction The cocktail was invented in 1941 by John G. Martin of G.F. Heublein Brothers, Inc., an East Coast spirits and food distributor, and "Jack" Morgan, President of Cock 'n' Bull Products (which produced ginger beer) and proprietor of the Cock 'n' Bull restaurant on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles popular with celebrities. The tale of the Moscow Mule is a pretty simple one -- and it all points to the vodka that’s in the cocktail. Back in the 1940s, vodka was an unpopular liquor on the American cocktail scene. Apparently, Americans joked that vodka was Russian for horrible. Taking a leap of faith, John G. Martin had bought the U.S. rights to the French Smirnoff brand in 1939. He unfortunately found that he couldn’t move the stuff. No one was drinking vodka. One somber afternoon, Martin was lamenting his inability to sell his booze at the L.A. bar Cock 'n' Bull with the owner, Jack Morgan. Morgan had a similar problem, but with ginger beer. There was another hard-up businessman present who had an abundance of copper mugs he couldn't move either. With a few drinks under their belt, a little bit of ingenuity and a bartender on hand they put their problems together and came up with the Moscow Mule -- a vodka and ginger beer...

...‘‘Business communication is a term that can be defined as the contact between the people in an organisation for the intention of carrying out the business activities. It is used to promote a product, service, or organization as well as pass on information within a business or work as an official statement from a company’’ (Business Communication, ask.com, 2013). Good communication skills are imperative for any business. In fact, these skills can often mean the difference between success and failure. There are two main types of business communication. Internal communication Internal communications is the function responsible for effective communication among participants within an organization. Also it refers to the sharing of information within an organization for business purposes. For example, internal communication within a company can take place via speech, telephone radio, mail, paging, fax, closed circuit television, electronic mail, Internet connections and computer networks. There are two sides to strategy in internal communications. In the first instance there is the organization's strategy — what it hopes to achieve and how it plans to go about achieving it. That strategy will be supported and, to some extent, delivered through effective internal communications. In this context internal communication can help on several different levels: * Tell: simply informing people of the direction, non-negotiable * Sell: anticipating some form of backlash, requiring...

...My Ritual I have to say I write my best when I am outdoors. The fact of being crammed in a computer room or library doesn’t set my mind at ease. When indoors there are multiple detractions such as loud key board noises, side conversations, cell phones going off etc. Being outdoors for me brings life into my writing regardless of the topic. Whether is the warm sun shining down or a cool breeze from the trees it relaxes me as a writing thus making my writing come to me easier. I’ve written several papers at the beach, local park and even my own backyard. On these outdoors papers I have received B’s, whereas indoor papers that have been turned in have been C’s. What I like to do when writing outside is to have a nice cold drink with me. I set myself up on a chair and depending on the days weather I sit in the sun or the shade. I am not one who sits and has their stuff scattered out in front, to me I feel that the vision of that crowds the mind and makes it difficult to concentrate. Writing with a pen and paper has also never suited me. The best way I do my writing is through a keyboard on a laptop or desktop. I guess you can say it’s due to the generation I grew up in and how much technology evolved since the early 1990’s. For me, there are many distractions for me when I am about to engage in my writing ritual. I know for a fact that my main distraction is defiantly my cell phone. My cell can lead to numerous distractions. Distraction number one is always my work. I work...
