Robert Morris- - was American Revolutionary politician and financier who handled America’s money during war. He signed Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and U.S Constitution.

Thomas Jefferson- He was brilliant writer that drafted Declaration of Independence while he was 32. In it, he argued persuasively that the colonies had the right to separate from England since it deprived them of “natural rights” of humankind. The Declaration of Independence- A formal statement that expressed colonist’s separation from England. It was drafted by Thomas Jefferson and adopted by Second Continental Congress in July 4, 1776. It expressed all of England’s faults toward the colonies and justified why the rebels wanted to separate from Britain. It’s honored because of its statement that “all men are created equal”

Valley Forge- It was the site of base camp for George Washington’s Continental Army from December 1777-1778. Its winters were so severe that the soldiers got sick and even died. Marquis De Lafayette- He was a young French nobleman that fled France because he was bored, loved glory, and liberty. He was made a major general at 19 in the colonies. Because he loved the colonists thoughts and desire for liberty, he continually went back to France spread these ideas
