3) Would you use a sample or a census to measure each of the following? Why?

a) The number of cans of Campbell’s soup on your local supermarket’s shelf today at 6 pm. I will use Census. It is easy to count the number of cans because it has specific time.
b) The proportion of soup sales last week in Boston that was sold under the Campbell brand. I will use Sample. It is difficult to gather date from the entire population because population. It is too large, so it is better to gather data on a subset of large population.
c) The proportion of Campbell’s brand soup cans in your family’s pantry. I will use Census. The entire population is small. So it is easy collect.

4) A tabletop survey by a restaurant asked the following question: Were the food and beverage presentations appealing (tick any one: Yes, No).

a) What kind of response scale is this?
