For hundreds of years now, school from all over the world have had yearlong schooling, but recently, some countries have changed to year round schooling. Year round schools are definitely better than having a long period of school year then having a two months summer break. It is better in the following ways: students will not forget what they learned the previous year, students and teachers can have vacations in different seasons, and students will not start gaining bad habits over the summer vacation. The first reason for why year round schooling is way better is because students will not forget what they had learned so easily. One example is that during a summer break, students tends to throw their books away and never opens it until school starts again. In addition, if a students do not review their learning or even look at their textbooks for two months or more, they surely will forget what they had learned, but if they only had a week or two of a break, they can still relax and rest, while still would be able to comprehend what they have been taught. The best part about going to year round schooling is that when students come back from their break, teachers do not have to restlessly cram everything that the students had learned last year into a one month review. Most students and some parents, usually argues that when going to year round schooling, they cannot have a long enough period amount of time to fully vacation, relax, and take their mind off of whatever that is bothering them. Well, of course you can still go on vacation, even better because, you get to enjoy your vacations in wonderful different seasons.
