They wait until there is a reason in implementing a change. This paper covers the changes that has been mandated over the past decade and why these changes have occurred. Changes ere not just to the car but includes the whole NASCAR package. Changes were made to the car, the track, the driver’s gear, and pit road. Unfortunately, these changes were too late for some of NASCAR’s most legendary drivers, to include Dale Earnhardt. However, NASCAR officials have attempted to rectify their wrongs by ensuring the safety of the driver over the past 10 years. In order to achieve this I firstly had fill out an online application, giving some personal details and a brief description of why I wanted to become a volunteer. My description included several reasons on why I wanted this, my main one being that I had always wanted to join the police as it has always been my dream job, by starting as a volunteer I felt as though this would gain me a step closer to this. After waiting around a week I received an email asking me to come to a meeting, this would entail a vetting check and going over what being a community volunteer would include. The next day I received an email stating I had passed the checks and I was now a community volunteer within West Yorkshire Police. I have only recently become a volunteer so have not had much of the volunteer experience within the police. As I am now a community volunteer I am now logged on to the Police duty sheet, this is a website which provides volunteering opportunities when they are available.
